DP, you have much better controll of your temper than me. Personally I would have reacted much different to the attack than you did, kudo's! gary51 06-20-2004, 10:07 PM The rain held off and the racing was hard and fast Congrats to all the winners. Great job Donnie and the purple 99 for setting another track record. Great driving to Cliff in the19t main you were one spinout of getting 49 but great win. Congrats to Chris Fry for getting his first 43 laps and win in A main stock. good driving in nastruck Kevin im glad we had a good race and finished on same lap. geat job to both of the young guys in novice. Thanks to all the new drivers that showed up especialy Built BILL and Chip thanks for all your help to the drivers. Gary  Echeconnee 06-20-2004, 11:05 PM I think I speak on behalf of Donnie and Eric when I say "we had a great time". That is the closest racing I have done in quite some time. I thought I was racing for the lead and Donnie was closing fast which made me drive a little better, nothing like getting those "A" main shakes! lol. Sure was good to see Chris do so well, he has improved a bunch since we first met, but look out, if Amanda can get a clean run in it's gonna be a barn burner! Look forward to the next one! davepull 06-20-2004, 11:13 PM Butts (tm) we will most likely be back for the next night race as soon as we determine when that might be, lol. DP, you have much better controll of your temper than me. Personally I would have reacted much different to the attack than you did, kudo's! thanks man. I don't like what happened and am not proud of it either. I am more embarrassed at the fact that we had something like this happen davepull 06-21-2004, 09:53 PM what tires do I need to run Up there in stock class? and are they the same for 19t? and When is the next race Butts (tm) want to come up:) Echeconnee 06-21-2004, 10:01 PM DP, I like pink lf net on the right front, pink RR net on the right rear, green lf on the left front and a green a green LR narrow on the left rear. I run white springs on both sides in the front with 4 deg castor on the right and 0 deg castor on the left. I have blue springs on both rear shocks with 40 weight oil and I run a HPI center shock with #2 piston in the center with a Silva silver spring. I am using a .063 45 deg fiberglass T-plate. If you have an adjustable center shock mount use the 2nd or 3rd hole from the top, if you don't, get one. I use a little rear steer and a Bud's super Bi-Level wing. The body of choice is HDMC from protoform. I hope this helps....... Oh yea, this is a set up for 19t but I see no reason it would not work in stock. Echeconnee 06-21-2004, 10:07 PM The set up above is what I use in Branford but is not very different from our track. The only real difference is that you will not need the Bi-level and you will run less wedge in the car. The fastest stock time is a 6.o and the fastest time I have seen in 19t is a 5.4 second lap but to make the car race worthy 5.6 works better as you will have to tighten the car some. I have everything you need in stock and in the interest of getting you "cap's worthy" I will help you out with the pricing because they are somewhat expensive. I do have the online guys beat on price so there is nothing 4 you to worry about pricewise, we have it 4 less, lol davepull 06-21-2004, 10:14 PM ok you talking to me in german on the tires. I know nothing about caps Echeconnee 06-21-2004, 10:46 PM this is all you need to know, L is the size designation for the smallest circumfrance tire, S is medium and R is the largest. I run all L tires on the car except for the right rear tire which is a R. I run regular pro lite green compound tires on the left side of the car and on the right side I run belted or "net" tires and they are the pink compound. The reason for the net is to stiffen the tire and aid in cooling it. The net also helps the tire stay coincentric at high rpm's. None of us run on a track that would produce that high of an rpm but we do benefit from the stiffness and the cooling quality the tire has. We run what is called a narrow tire on the left rear as it helps turn in and really plants the car while cornering, more so than a wide tire, unlike running on foams. You still want the rear track to be between 7and5/8 and 7 and7/8 inches outside to outside, the stock setting on the front should work for now. Also if you can run offset and rear steer it doesn't hurt either. We can get you fast "Jump in any time Donnie" you just have to hang on and drive it! 19t @ both tracks is hair on fire fast so jump in and feel the burn! Echeconnee 06-21-2004, 10:49 PM www.bsr-racing.com Go to the BSR site as well and read up a little, ignore the info on the pink tires though as they have changed some. They now reside between green and blue compounds Echeconnee 06-21-2004, 11:11 PM the next race is this weekend, David, David or Davids or ....you guys! The schedule is here: www.echeconneesuperspeedway.tk (http://www.echeconneesuperspeedway.tk) Fl Flash 06-21-2004, 11:35 PM Hey Branford Buch, Dang, sorry I couldnt make it Sat. sounds like ya had a good time as usual! Hey Lee you missed a good one, hope all is well with your wife.. Read the last page if you want a rundown on Nastruck Saturday night. Or better yet here it is.. 4 Cell Stock Nastruck This had to be the closest racing I have seen, even though there were just 3 of us,to start off with Eugene Biala and I battled for the TQ spot in the qualifying heats we finished two of the 3 heats within 100ths of a second and the third I set TQ with a 39 lap run.In the main I took 1st place with Gary Putnam 2nd.. Hey guys and girls I have my new message board up and going,so if you want to talk more trash,or just to say hi, head over there..:p Kevin Echeconnee 06-22-2004, 07:26 AM Kevin you got PM gary51 06-23-2004, 04:37 PM :) THE next race at Branford will be on JULY18 at 12:30 a day race . . to help out the people who can not race at night. we will be running 1 day race and 1 night race each month for the summer. Chris enjoy the taste of victory while you can,24 days and counting..:p Kevin Kevin's RC Oval Site/Branford RC Speedway (http://www.kevinsrc.tk) Echeconnee 06-23-2004, 05:41 PM looks like we will be able to make it once a month then, cool parrott88 06-23-2004, 09:05 PM Kevin, He will be back when he is sure he can whip "Big Red" in 19t, lol I wish it was that simple... I'd be back tomorrow Echeconnee 06-23-2004, 10:58 PM Well we look forward to your return Jerry, let us know and we will roll out the red carpet for you :) davepull 06-23-2004, 11:24 PM Hey Kevin I need to make a schedule out of my racing for the wife. when will Branford be running in July? rcovalracer 06-24-2004, 04:32 AM I think our only race date for July will be the 18th. We are currently trying to work around Encheconnee's (http://www.echeconneesuperspeedway.tk/) dates. They race every 2nd and 4th Sunday,so we will proably be goin to the 1st and 3rd weekend of each month after July. One will be a night race and the other a day race.. I try to have the next race date in the news scroller at the top of my website posted atleast 2 weeks prior to the next race day/night.. Hope to see you guys soon  ... Kevin Kevin's RC Oval Site/Branford RC Speedway (http://www.kevinsrc.tk/) rcovalracer 06-26-2004, 06:32 PM Hey RCGen,today while running my truck I noticed something incredible,LOL I beat you by where my transponder was mounted in Nastruck, on the hood.:) Thanks once again to Gary for driving from Tallahassee to lower the lights in all 4 corners today in the 100° weather.. I have to make a correction on my Records Page (http://hometown.aol.com/langcnn/records.html), Eric Kline ran a lap time of 6.99 in Novice, nice lap Eric  , Kevin rcgen 06-26-2004, 07:28 PM My transponder is mounted on the front windshield. I'll have to move it when I get another body or we'll have to put a video camera on the finish line for instant replay  wade 06-26-2004, 11:52 PM You guys have done an awesome job over the last 6 months with the new drivers stand area for the transponders lines on the track #s on the track and just the general area looking great!!! But racing under the lights is just to hard on me. You have put up triple the # of lights that were up last year and its lite pretty good. I still can't see the wrecks in front of me and I can't gauge the distance going into the corners. Its called hitting 50 and cataracts!!! Not taking anything away from Chris last time He ran a heck of a race, and I was really happy for him, but if that was during the day I believe I would have run him down...but thats racing. I couldn't hit my line going into 1.. I would run a 6.7 then a 7.0 then a 6.8 then a 7.2 no consistency. Chris hung in there out front and stayed clean. CONGRATS I think the 1 day race a month is good. I will not be able to make it though. I'm putting it in the pits for at least a month or so. Work is transfering me to another store and its fixing to get crazy. I will keep in touch Good Luck to everyone Wade Racing Southern Style rcovalracer 06-27-2004, 09:13 AM Wade sorry to hear you will be out for a little while:drunk: ,I didn't stay around last night to check out the lights but I'm sure they are alot brighter now than the last race:thumbsup: . Wade don't worry about your eye site,I am half your age and damned if I didn't run straight into Amanda's car sitting on the track in the Main. Once again sorry Amanda.. Hope all goes smoothly and see ya back in Branford soon,Kevin Gary Thanks For All Your Hard Work And Time At The Track. gary51 06-27-2004, 11:47 AM kevin Thanks for your help yesterday at the track MR.SCOTT and i rechecked the lights in the dark and we both ran several times and had no problem . Moving the PA speakers really made a differance no problem hearing anything especialy up on drivers stand. have a good week. Gary Echeconnee 06-27-2004, 07:30 PM where is the new schedule? When is the next night race? rcovalracer 06-27-2004, 07:52 PM LOL,Gary posted a schedule at the track with the dates, but I have the worst memory in the world, but I think the next night race will be August 7th,and we will be running the opposite weekends from you guys so we can make it up there sometimes and vise versa:thumbsup: The first weekend of the summer months will be night races I think.. Echeconnee 06-27-2004, 08:02 PM I hope it's not aug 7, we race on the 8th gary51 06-28-2004, 12:22 AM Cliff i did have us racing on the 8th saturdaty night but should not be a problem to change to 14th saturday and the next saturday race on sept 4th. after that it depends on when we go back to all sunday races . we will then get on every other sunday . so racers can go back and forth. will talk to MR. Scott and tell him of changes . will let you know in plenty of time to set things up. Gary Echeconnee 06-28-2004, 03:56 AM Thanks Gary, keep us posted:) rcovalracer 06-28-2004, 05:14 AM Thanks Gary for coming up with a schedule,I should have the schedule posted Tuesday, after I run it by Mr.Scott's to make sure this is what he wants, remember we don't run Scott's Hobbies,we just help out  ..
