I think it was them, but if was like 6 years ago, I traded an original rc10, bolink sprint car, both rtr, and extras, for a nitro stadium truck, never got anything, email changed got extremely screwed out of over $500

He is on Hobby Talk Non-RC trying to sell a racing kart. Several spotted him and immediately posted not to deal. He stated in a different forum that he wanted to race oval in Indiana but he was invited not to show up on that forum.

Folks please, if you get scammed by these so called ppl go to http://www.ic3.gov and put in a complaint. This is a FBI website for internet Fraud.

Stay away from BOTH Tim and Thom. Im a kart racer and a frequent user of Bobs 4 Cycle. These two sh*theads are trying to rip people off of kart racing equipment left and right, excuses that each one stole eachothers password, and a whole other pile of excuses. The matter is STILL on going on 4 Cycle as to what to do with these two wastes of human flesh.

I just bought a raptor 30 helicopter from a member on rcgroups. His user name was Monsterdriver3, after paypaling him the $417 last week and him saying he shipped it I started to do some research about him and came upon this and other threads about the Barth brothers. I believe he scammed me as he said the helicopter was shipped Tuesday of this week and he would email me the tracking number later. I have yet to hear back from him even after several emails and PMs. He has been active on rcgroups since my last PM so I know her read it. Is there anyway I can contact them to see what's going on? Also, in his emails he used the name Tim Barth but his paypal name was Thomas R Wagner. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Well it seems they did indeed send me a refund. I will have it tomorrow by 3 P.M. as I requested he send it express mail (which delivers on holidays) because of all the time and effort I have spent on a helicopter that I'm never going to get. It's sad that it took the police to get them motivated. I'll post tomorrow and let you know if the did send me a refund or if it was just another scam.

I just got the mail and he did indeed send me a money order. I have yet to prove it's authenticity though... But it appears to be a real USPS MO. Overall I'll say the the Barth brothers came through, but I will not edit any of my posts as I still think I was slightly scammed because I payed for a helicopter and never got one. I think if I didn't call the police I would of never got my refund either.
