i'm all for putting more in each heat .
if you are going to run 6 in the main
then run the heats that way .
get people used to running together .

I got out of there by 11 last week... two heats and a main... I came in 2nd in the A-main 19 turn class too... and Jamie didn't win... Oh, but he raced stock, and there was only two of us running 19 turn... Gosh... and I thought it was all just a dream...

I had fun in stock. I have been running the car in 19turn all year and it worked great. I just want a chance to see how it works in stock. It also gives me a chance to race with some other freinds at the track. It is always fun to switch it up once in a while.

Well Ernie I missed round 1 because of work. I ran 53s in qualifying. the main was a 54 4:03 according to the sheet. But I don't know if that really counts.

Greg - There generally hasn't been a Mod class lately. The REAL reason he's switched to stock is to allow time for the 19-turn driver's wounds to heal!

It would be nice to have some mod racing again. :cool:

Hey Jamie... I spent hours on my front end... I turned my first 4.1 second laps... and even had one 4.0 second lap... I'm a firm beleiver now that at least half the speed of a car is in the front end. I know people have pretty much told me the front end was important for a while, but now I REALLY understand... Thanks Jamie for helping me to come to that understanding about it all... (I spent another 4 hours on the front end after last week's race... who knows maybe I can turn some 3.9s this week)

Oh and by the way... any chance you'll be at the Michigan State Oval champs race Jamie?

If they don't run trucks I'm gonna try to get something going. At least for the fun of it.

I'm sure Jon's got something I can whip together in time.

We are running truck at State Champs, both Stock and 19T. I know I put it on the flyer, but maybe when I e-mailed it to Jake, it lost some of the info.

One other missing piece of information: Is it a ROAR state championship (i.e. membership required) or an "unofficial" one?
