Man there seems that a lot of people want to come run with us this year.
Echeconnee 03-11-2004, 09:56 PM I will try to get something to gether as far as a flyer goes. This is just our first race of the year but it's turning into a big deal. See ya at the Big "D"
parrott88 03-11-2004, 10:17 PM cliff, save me one of your 19t motors. i guess i will be running more 19t this year starting at daytona. what brush/spring combo have you been running?
Echeconnee 03-11-2004, 10:26 PM I will see if I have one left. I am not sure what the springs are, they came with the motor but they seem to be like red and green. Brushes are either orion, which are not available anymore or the putnam X brush. I will have some in Daytona when you get there. The motors are by Bulit and are in a T1 can. Most are between 90 and 100 watts @ 36 deg. If I have a motor it will be the only new one left. I will e mail Bill and see if I can get a couple more before Daytona. Are you running stock and 19t?
rcovalracer 03-12-2004, 09:59 PM we are going to 5 min in stock and we will keep 19t @ 4 minutes for the time being
What about 4 cell stock breakout?
Echeconnee 03-12-2004, 11:00 PM 7.0 breakout will be 5 minutes as well
Donnie_99 03-13-2004, 09:13 AM cant wait been playing with the 19t really like this motor make you throw the stockers in the trash lol.

I see you've gotten a taste of that speed so you want some of it now.
Echeconnee 03-14-2004, 10:16 PM Well fellers, I am going to be off the air for the next whole week. I am headed to Savannah then on to Daytona to whip some FL tail, lol. I wish. See y'all at the races!
Echeconnee 03-14-2004, 10:18 PM hey, someone turned me into an elder statesman, I'm not elderly, lol :( Although I might drive like it
Echeconnee 03-22-2004, 05:16 PM First race of the season is April 4th. Looks like 19t will be a big class this year!
Echeconnee 03-23-2004, 08:21 PM Jerry, you got your 19t hot rod ready?
parrott88 03-23-2004, 08:25 PM uhhhh, not sure...... going to give it a shot!!!!!
it might be ugly!!!!!!!!!
Echeconnee 03-23-2004, 08:29 PM naaaa, the faster those Hyperdrives go the better they handle
Donnie_99 03-23-2004, 08:33 PM i will be ready for either class.
parrott88 03-23-2004, 08:35 PM I'm Sure You Will Donnie..... Can't Wait. It's Going To Be A Blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Donnie_99 03-23-2004, 08:39 PM i am only gonna run one class so it depends where everyone signs up i guess. i know sammy is staying in stock for now
Donnie
Echeconnee 03-23-2004, 08:50 PM I think I am going to work with the KSG for a while. I have got to find an edge somewhere
parrott88 03-23-2004, 09:04 PM I've got to find a 19t motor .... I'ts hard to do when you don't know what your looking for. c2, handwound, ajustable timing, ti can , d5 can and so on
rowdyrj 03-23-2004, 09:20 PM i am only gonna run one class so it depends where everyone signs up i guess. i know sammy is staying in stock for now
Donnie
I will get a practice in this friday. Found what was wrong with the Hyperdrive, rear ride height to low. Rookie, set-up
losidude94 03-23-2004, 09:22 PM Jerry,
hand wound adjustable timing preferably from Bulit Motorsports. The Ti can and the D5 are very close in power. I have had better luck with the Ti, the d5 seems too run hotter for some reason. Both are good though. Here is Bill Kellum's number if you can't find any, give him a call 251-401-5354 and 251-602-9907. For brushes I like the Pro 1 from Bulit or the X brush from Putnam
Cliff,
Bill and I will probably leave early on the 3rd. Can you tell me run line and records for stock and 19t?
rowdyrj 03-23-2004, 09:26 PM I'm working on reserving a set of rooms at the Comfort Inn on 247 across from the Base if any one need a room for the weekend.
losidude94 03-23-2004, 10:11 PM Rowdy, I don't know if bill has made a reservation yet but we might take one.
Forgot to ask what kind of body downforce or speedway.
later,
Chip Bonds #94
kevina250 03-23-2004, 11:40 PM Hey Cliff, If a bunch of us guys plan a trip to BMS to run nitro would you want to race? We need to set a date so everyone can make it.
Kevin

I run a HD Monte Carlo body with Green tires myself but I've only been racing oval for a little over a year.
definatly coming with the Stocker
Jerry give me a call tonight or stop by for lunch on Thursday
Cliff I know what you mean about finding an edge
Wade
parrott88 03-24-2004, 09:00 PM Been thinking about it, just talked to Wade, I'm going to stick with just running stock on the 4th. I don't have any 19t motors, and really don't know a whole lot about them. I think I will get one and aleast play around with it abit before trying to run one.
Donnie_99 03-24-2004, 10:49 PM stock and 19t for me i think
Echeconnee 03-25-2004, 07:48 AM Chip, The track is 305 in the runline. The track record in stock is 38 in a 4 oh something, help me out here Donnie, it's your record. In 19t you should shoot for 41 in around 4:05. Most everyone uses a downforce body here because of the shallow banking.
Kevin, that sounds like a plan. I need to get Yates back anyway, lol, if I can. I just can't do it on the 2nd or 4th weekend of the month as we will be putting on the races at home.
David58 03-25-2004, 05:11 PM Did I see somewhere you were going to allow "outlaw" motors in stock? Just wanted to make sure.
David
Donnie_99 03-25-2004, 06:43 PM hey david he is going to allow the bianary stock motor to run but i wouldnt worry still a lot to learn about gearing on that motor .
Donnie
Echeconnee 03-25-2004, 08:55 PM Binary stock motors will be allowed but I do not want to see any of the skewed comms or arms. The entire arm must be straight up. I have heard that on short tracks the quads work wonders but as the tracks get longer the monsters are the motor of choice. Also, only ARCOR approved 19t motors will be allowed. I have some really good Bulit Monsters in stock and some pretty healthy SMC batteries as well. Also as far as I know Bulit Bill himself will be present to run 19t and answer any motor questions y'all may have. We will be getting the drivers stand finished enough to race off of this weekend but we will probably not get the top on it in time for the race on the 4th.
Fl Flash 03-26-2004, 08:30 AM Cliff,

E-Mail me before Friday, kevin32024@yahoo.com
Echeconnee 03-28-2004, 07:32 PM It sounds like we are going to have a lot of fun on the 4th. We finished nailing down the deck and putting up the handrails on the drivers stand even with a short intermission to watch the Bristol race. I would think we would run whatever rules on NASTRUCK as Scott does to be sure. Jerry you will be OK, you are the man in stock for now!
rcovalracer 03-28-2004, 08:19 PM Thanks,see ya the 4th
parrott88 03-28-2004, 09:53 PM kevin, paid what I said I paid. price still on the box. I guess thay have dropped the price sents there new radio has come out. I'm not going to give it away. I'll just keep it before I do that.
parrott88 03-28-2004, 09:55 PM Cliff, did you leave a little opening on the back...... so we can throw people off if we have to
rcovalracer 03-28-2004, 10:31 PM Jerry don't forget to bring it.I need it anyways..
What time will you be at the track Saturday? So I can meet with ya and pick it up and get some laps in. Kevin
Echeconnee 03-28-2004, 11:22 PM we can make arrangements for drivers stand ejection
Echeconnee 03-28-2004, 11:27 PM Donnie, I wouldn't stand too close to the edge, if you know what I mean, lol
gary51 03-28-2004, 11:49 PM everyone watch your step around drivers stand you
might trip over a ejected driver.lol
Donnie_99 03-29-2004, 12:08 AM lol no edges for me lol
