Reminds me of the time we had that Christmas party at Sammy's. It was about a 50 mile drive or so, and Donnie rode his bike. This is December, now. We left about the same time and I followed him back. The whole time I was watching him, I was thinking, "That's cool! That looks like a lot of fun. Gee, it's warm in here, I need to turn the heat down. Anyway, that looks like fun. Let me turn the volume down on my stereo. That's the life, up there!" :p

Lee, I didn't realize that but we are so far away from each other I am sure it will have little to no effect on either venue. We may compete for a handful of racers but it's no big deal. I know wherever the racers end up they will have a good time, I hear the Ft. Lauderdale track is really nice and they put on a great race and of course all of those things are true of our track as well. I know Wade from Valdosta is planning to go again this year. I had thought of going just to run my GASCAR but that is a really long haul for Andy and I. I wish that track was the venue for the Snowbirds as it is warm all year down there and back when we used to attend the snowbirds it was just concrete oval and it was a really great race. Hats off to boylan for having the biggest race in the world now, but I don't care for carpet or running my car @ 4am to qualify. Besides it has turned into a big Trinity run touring car race with some oval on the side and I can't deal with the Paragon in that room, it's too strong!

Your right about the distance between the two tracks, about a 9 hr drive between them. My dilema is Jax is 4 1/2 north of Ft. Lauderdale and 4 1/2 hours south of Echeconnee :confused: But then again they speak my language in Ga. :lol:

In 7.0 it is still to close to call. Chris, Chris, myself and Ralph are within 3 to 4 points of each others.
