Eche, i think boylan said he might be coming back up on the 18th. He missed track record last time by about a second on his first qual. Beat it by a full second in the 2nd. Should be a fun night.

Both nights? I will have Eric with me. He has put in to go so many times he is about to bust a gut, So he's big enough, I will bring him along so he can try racing some different folks at different tracks. My only hope is that that bumper on his 500 holds up to those inside walls, lol

Donnie_99
06-10-2004, 11:11 PM
lol he will do fine just paint him a new body he seems to like that

Echeconnee
06-10-2004, 11:13 PM
He has a new McCallister, I might paint it a bright color so he can see it better. You are going to have a time seeing that purple car in JAX

Donnie_99
06-10-2004, 11:27 PM

Echeconnee
06-10-2004, 11:28 PM

Donnie_99
06-10-2004, 11:39 PM
really why

Echeconnee
06-10-2004, 11:41 PM
well you don't want to chunk them, not on a track that fast, it would really throw you off

Donnie_99
06-10-2004, 11:42 PM
i got a set of rims also just in case

Echeconnee
06-10-2004, 11:42 PM

Echeconnee
06-10-2004, 11:43 PM

Another great day of racing today! We saw a lot of speed out of the pro stock guys and Donnie Thigpen broke the track record AGAIN with a very fast 48 lap run. Chris Fry won the 7.0 A main and Sean Mixon won the pro stock B main. The 7.0 race today was one of the cleanest races I have seen in that class yet. Qualifying in both classes was very tight and only 100ths seperated some of the racers. Here is how it shook down, I would list the qualifying but I left it at the track, DOH, So I will have to wait to post the points tomorrow night.

7.0 A Main

1) Chris Fry
2) Ralph Mann
3) Amanda Fry
4) Chris Collinsworth
5) Eric Bishop
6) Keith Johnson
7) Rod Jacobs

Pro Stock A main

1) Donnie Thigpen
2) Sammy Stewart
3) Andy Thompson
4) Clifford Kline
5) Mike Burke

Pro Stock B Main

1) Sean Mixon
2) Chris Collinsworth
3) Rod Jacobs
4) David Mullis
5) Ralph Mann

Cliff has just announced that August 8th will be the date for the East Coast Paved Oval Invitational qualifying race at Echeconnee Superspeedway. All of the racers that qualify for your A Main in the classes that we will offer at the Invitational will get an invitation to this race.

So if you are in the A main at the Aug 8th race, you will get an invitation. If you come to the East Coast Invitational, you will be placed in heats with all A main quality racers from around the country.

So far there are TEN different tracks that will hold a qualifying race so there should be a big turn out for the Invitational. The more that qualify, the bigger the race.

All of us at Cooper's hope that you support Cliff for this qualifying race and we look forward to seeing the A Main racers at the Invitational on the 24th and 25th of September.

(NOTE: If you do not qualify for the A Main, you can still race in the Non-Invitational part of this event. If you TQ, you may bump up into the Invitational.)

Cliff here's the part number for the legends car: BL-5244 front axle plate and BL-5243 R/C Legends bumper. Let me know if you have them.
