Well, team blue will be team assosiated this weekend, there is no way I am gonna lay that KSG down in Branford, it's way too fragile. The assosiated has passed the "throw it in the trailer test" so it will withstand Branford. It may not be my KSG but she ain't no slouch. I am looking forward to out running those 2 red cars!

Going to Dover this week watch the Big Boys run. Think I'm taking a little break afterwards. Need to go back to driving school and figure out my problem

No I don't think so, I am headed for a grudge match in FL. Everyone has quit running them here and I have just about given up on them myself. It's no different than electric racing when it comes to people messing with the motors, we found that out quick at BMS. I really enjoyed racing with Yates in Daytona, I had something for him in the main but a brainless turn marshall ended any hopes of me even thinking about winning

Who was messing with the moors. Not suppose to. As far as rules go there is no porting or polishing alowed.

Donnie_99
06-03-2004, 05:37 PM
i think he is talking about the shims under the head

Echeconnee
06-03-2004, 06:08 PM
well actually the lack of shims and the milling down of the head to get it to ARCOR min spec of .014 for head clearance. When the cars were teched Andy and I were the only ones with .021 head clearance. ARCOR should have never made that an issue. I like the GASCAR rules a lot better. I still like running the car, it's just that you really need someone to pit for you in those long races and that is not an option for me right now. Plus I want to go to FL this weekend and run electric while a few things are still clear in my head.

06-03-2004, 11:14 PM
Agreed Cliff. I enjoy the Gascar races. Make plans now for the 500 lapper at the Bowl later on. There are more than anybody there that can pit your car. Talk to you soon.

Well I am finally off of suicide watch!! My wife finally put the knives back out in the house!! I had a great time last week but you guys dont know how luck you are. If I hadnt have left my cars at home on purpose to give you all a chance you would have been about 5 laps off the pace!! LOL And if you believe that you'd probably also believe hacksaw's poot's dont stink!! My sububurban still rinks of hacksaw after a week!!

Later

Echeconnee
06-04-2004, 08:07 AM
Eric, we enjoyed having you down and hope to do it again real soon and race you with your own cars, lol. I know Andy likes his "new" car. You may need to buy a pick up in case Hacksaw's flatulance gets out of hand again, that way you can just put him in the back and save your interior!

Thanks guys we just enjoyed being there, win or lose or even broken.

Donnie, the purple car will need a remedial course in 19t 101 before tackling the Branford track, it's harder than ours.

Kevin, thanks, I wish I could have been a little better. I think 50 will get done before the summer is over. I think fast lap was 5.91, I think. I used the KSG in 19t and the L4 in stock.

Ran there yesterday. I did all right track is smaller so gear and throttle control was a real issue. But other than that I had fun.

Cliff congrats on schooling them florida boys in 19t. HeHe

Speaking of records.... sitting here bored at work I went and figured out the perfect run in 7.0 and 43 laps are possible. The absolute perfect run is 43 laps in 5:01.00. The lap average on that perfect run is 7.0. The math states that if you run 43 laps in 5:00.99 a 6.99 second lap would be turned somewhere. Found that intresting.
