View Full Version : Echeconnee Superspeedway gary51 05-25-2004, 05:00 PM thanks for setting the p94 hood setup straight i here there are some of these motors floating around. Let,s all get it togeather and do the right thing and have a fun race weekend. Gary Echeconnee 05-25-2004, 05:00 PM I failed to mention one thing about the enduro, If the winner is able to complete the full 100 laps the track will match the 50 in the kitty for a full dollar a lap. There still remains a twist for this run though, not revealed until positions have been drawn for. Wade there will actually be 3 quals on Saturday, one round is single lap qualifying wade 05-25-2004, 05:03 PM I'm thinking about the Enduro,,,explain again how it works?? Also 2 Q on Sat. is that correct?? wade 05-25-2004, 05:05 PM Boy you sure type quicker than I do. I'm still quicker on the track LOL!!! Let the smack begin!!! wade 05-25-2004, 05:07 PM You are going to run the enduro without turn marshalls are'nt you ??? Echeconnee 05-25-2004, 05:09 PM OK here is the deal on the 100 lap enduro: Everyone who wants to run the enduro will sign up for it at no cost to enter the drawing to get into the race. If your name is drawn and you choose to enter you pay 5 dollars into the race kitty at that time. Only 10 will be drawn to participate in the enduro race. After we have 10 drawn we will throw the 10 names into the hat again and draw for position. Whoever wins gets the 50 dollars. If the winner manages to win by running the full 100 laps we (the track) will kick in 50 more for a total of 100 dollars to a single winner. There is only one twist left and that will be revealed just before the race. Echeconnee 05-25-2004, 05:12 PM Well Wade you won't have to worry about me, I won't be running stock as I will have my hands full whipping those 19t boys. I am going to hook up with EA and we are going to run like DEI @ Daytona, lol But you will be racing against my A10 as Sean Mixon will pilot it for this race, he got Andy last Sunday and was hunting Sammy down and ran out of time, so look out, he's an up and comer Donnie_99 05-25-2004, 05:29 PM Hey Wade i got us a room i had to get it at the holiday inn though the comfort inn was already booked up. Bulitbill Donnie_99 05-25-2004, 05:33 PM i am gonna be drafting the sawman and bulit u know that 3 cars are faster in the draft than 2 lol Eric probabaly wont need any drafting help as fast as he is bulitbill 05-25-2004, 05:35 PM Heck yeah Donnie, he's a legend in his own mind...................... Echeconnee 05-25-2004, 05:40 PM careful Bill that's Bruce's mating call, lol I got a buddy that ownes a bar right next to the Holiday inn who said he would run happy hour all night saturday night for us Echeconnee 05-25-2004, 05:42 PM Donna has already done the shopping for this weekend, besides Sonny's has great ribs! Echeconnee 05-25-2004, 05:44 PM I know Happy Hour on Friday will be very interesting, Team Blue will have you rednecks wrenching! Donnie_99 05-25-2004, 05:48 PM yea but us rednecks gonna have more fun in the end lol Donnie_99 05-25-2004, 05:49 PM wade and sammy gonna hook up and draft of from the rest of the pack to settle stock among them selves Echeconnee 05-25-2004, 05:50 PM Hey you gotta pick a side and my Hyperdrive is spoken for , for this race. Of course I could break out the dreaded 500 on y'all! rcovalracer 05-25-2004, 06:05 PM wade and sammy gonna hook up and draft of from the rest of the pack to settle stock among them selves Remember, you will have to pass the "American Flag", he,he before you guys get the checkered.. Hope the Pontiac does well without drafting help... rcovalracer 05-25-2004, 06:33 PM Boy the Smack is flying Big Time and we still have a week to go. Cliff Glad you clarified the p-94 brush/hood issue I'm a little upset about it too. Donnie did you get a chance to make reservations?? Or was I suppose to do it ?? Hey Jerry, you wanted to know who was running them "P-94 Kits" before the Daytona race, well there is one person we know that runs them. He is not the only one,and as I stated before, the rest of the kits must have been sold to off-roaders running mods..I am not a tech man,so I will let them point fingers at the others...Kevin, 100% Stock Kevin's RC Oval Site/Branford RC Speedway (http://www.kevinsrc.tk) Echeconnee 05-26-2004, 06:05 PM I think everyone understands the rules so we should have a great time this weekend. Freinds on the Hill next to the Holiday inn is running Happy hour all night Saturday night so we will have an inexpensive place to hear Team Red's concession speech have a few brewski's and some good food. Where is that Lichtenberg guy at, he is usually on here tellin everybody how fast he is. lol wade 05-26-2004, 08:28 PM No you got it wrong "how fast I was right up to the main " then the car and driver both went in the crapper. Working on that for this Sunday will have my act together in the main....or should I say mains?? Echeconnee 05-26-2004, 10:12 PM yea, what's up wit dat? I don't know if it's main or mains yet, but I think it will probably be a main rcovalracer 05-26-2004, 10:21 PM I think it is time to break up the Chris and Chris show in breakout http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/naughty.gif By luck hopefully I will have a old ride for breakout...Hey atleast you guys can say you raced the truck, but it is not the big, brown truck... :) gary51 05-26-2004, 10:34 PM kevin i hope your not brining the flip top truck you know how hard it was in the turns.LOLary Echeconnee 05-26-2004, 10:42 PM www.echeconneesuperspeedway.tk rcovalracer 05-27-2004, 04:46 AM Gary I will have the "monster" body too eat up the competition in breakout http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/happy/roflmao.gif Then again I might unretire my "bowling ball" to clear the lanes... HE,HE Echeconnee 05-27-2004, 11:45 AM Just make sure the monster ain't too fast, lol rcovalracer 05-27-2004, 05:57 PM Should run some good 9's 10's if I ran my "monster" and it decided to come alive,LOL,Cliff I don't know if you guys were there that day my hood pins flew off and I was parachuting with the front end on the straights,LOL that is where the name "monster" came about... Kevin I think the Branford guys found a name for my truck and me now"Dyno Man"..LOL Echeconnee 05-29-2004, 12:37 AM Well a full day of practice is over, mostly 19t was practicing, everyone looks pretty good and Donnie Thigpen is looking a little better than good. Will post qualifying order tomorrow with some highlights.........Go team BLUE! mclake 05-30-2004, 09:05 AM Echeconnee, Got a few questions for you about the track and rules. How many racers do you usally have for Stock Nascar? Are you able to run the big wings? What exactly is the 7.0 class? How long does the stock nascar run? Just a few question might make a trip over from tuscaloosa and see how your track runs. Michael Gotjuice? 05-30-2004, 10:25 PM Ok what all happened beside the wreck fest in the A main(lol) and who won. Tony Echeconnee 05-30-2004, 11:05 PM Tony we had a great, we saw lot's of great racing and some great driving and some not so good driving. I can tell you, don't run 19t and put 3 laps on the field, they will put a bounty on your head! As expected (Team Blue) put it on team red in the 19t A main. I have to give credit where credit is due though, Donny Thigpen did out qualify team blue with his (red) Hyperdrive by 7/10th's of a second and last weekend during a regular race date, Hacksaw Johnson set the track record with a (red) car. I wish y'all could have made the show, we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Almost everyone there was running Bulit horsepower, some just had a little more than others, lol. Echeconnee 05-30-2004, 11:13 PM Michael, Our open stock class usually has 8-10 racers on a regular race. We run the equivilent of a Bud's super Bi-Level wing without the bi-level insert. The 7.0 class is very simple. You may enter a NASCAR truck or car body, you may run whatever battery or motor you choose and you may go as fast as you want as long as you do not go any faster than a seven second lap, ie: if you run a 6.9 second lap you lose that lap and any other lap below seven seconds. Both 7.0 and open stock run 5 minute heats and mains. If you get an idea of when you may make it over we will try to drum up as many extra racersa we can, I know Bulit is just lookin for a reason to come back over. gary51 05-30-2004, 11:16 PM  Cliff and Andy Jeff and l had a great race weekend . You guys worked hard and raced even harder. that made for great fun . you guys worked all the bugs out and kept everything going strong, and the food was greatgive our thanks to the cooks. We will never forget the 19t A Main cras and bash race I don<t know how you got through all thecrashing and flipping out of the track Cliff congrats for toughing it out for the win. I swear the purple car was waiting for you several times but i chould have been wrong LOL. Great time as always. Congrats to all the winners. Cliff it was fun in the stock qual. runs on Saturday racing with ya,sorry for the tri-oval incident  , Kevin Kevin's RC Oval Site/Branford RC Speedway (http://www.kevinsrc.tk) Echeconnee 05-31-2004, 06:25 PM Thanks guys I had a great time and I am really glad you all did as well! Bill I will save you a wine cork for next time you have to share pit space with Hacksaw, lol. Mike I hate you had trouble going home, I know how you feel. The last time we went to FL we were on our way to Jacksonville and we blew a tire. In typical racer fashion we leaped from Big Red and grabbed the jack and the spare and were back on our way in less than 10 minutes. We got our ever lovin butts (tm) kicked and then left for Branford. We had a great time racing there and when we headed home we got 11 miles int GA and BAM, tire #2 blew out bending the fender and blowing a hole in the trailer floor! Luckily I have a freind in the tire bus that does roadside stuff and he drove from MM 149 in Byron down to where we were and changed 4 tires in a hotel parking lot. We had a 3rd tire ready to blow out so I was glad we changed all 4. That was a bad trip but I would do it all over again if would keep me from having to smell another one of Hacksaw's farts! Oh yea, What was the color of the winning car? Yep, Blue! I am enjoying this to the hilt because I know at the next track I will likely get schooled by the BULIT Echeconnee 05-31-2004, 06:48 PM lol i had fun the 19t amain took a different turn when we knew cliff was so far a head so we decided to try and make the race a little closer hehehehe it was all in fun though ! dont know wht happened in the main everyone but cliff got loooooose DonnieYea that Blue Car was a Bulit! Echeconnee 05-31-2004, 06:50 PM Too bad Parrott didn't show, he might have been team red's only other shot at a win! Headed to Branford next Sat night for a little bull ring action parrott88 05-31-2004, 06:59 PM Yeah right.... The way my lucks been lately, Be glad I didn't come. I probally wouldn't of made it sunday anyway after the night I heard some had. I would still be out there chasing those macon gals.... Echeconnee 05-31-2004, 07:09 PM we would have found you a one legged gal for you to chase, they are a little easier to run down, saves time! vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
