35 or 36 to 100

Collinsworth24
05-05-2004, 03:25 AM
I would say somewhere in the 2.90 range. The last thing I ran was like a 2.87. I am running a green spring on the RF, a red spring on the LF. Black spring on the center shock. Tires.... no stagger in the front end. LF green, RF Green Net, LR Green narrow, RR Green Wide. Overall the car had plenty of speed down the straight, it just pushed like a dump truck through the corners. Got it a little better by the end of the day but it still just didn't see free enough middle off for my liking.

Hope this helps :drunk:

Junkman, if you want to have as good a chance of winning the "A" main @ the 500, I would suggest running the 7.0 break out class. It's fast, easy to get set up for and way fun. I allways run that class if it's available at new tracks I have never been to or don't race often. It really makes the racing a lot more enjoyable when you can run up front without having to thrash on your car all day for two days. Plus the 100 lap enduro will be a hoot as well, that is if you are drawn to participate. Only 10 will run it and there will be no practice or qualifiers. After you make it in, your starting position will be determined by a draw as well. I guess the race will be between 10 and 12 minutes long, I am just guessing, There may be no one that can finish it but whoever the last one running with the most laps will be declared the winner. There is one more twist to the race but it will not be disclosed until just before the start of the event :) Hope to see y'all @ the 500, you will enjoy it. Do you know how many will be coming with you? I need to get some idea because I have to make sure I get enough trophys.

We are due a trip down there anyway, we were going to try to make it once a month if possible through the warm season.

Cliff and Andy I just reserved my room at Holiday INN for Jeff and myself for the big Race. If anyone is interested The rate for a room with double beds is $54.00 + taxes. It,s about 10 minutes from track and walking distance to Ryans see you then.Cliff do you have a size limit on the cars that run in the 100 lap race i have a smaller one i may bring if i get in.

Echeconnee
05-07-2004, 02:21 PM
The car you run in the 100 lap race will have to be 1/10th scale with only one battery pack. It can be 4 or 6 cell and you may run any motor. It can have a car or truck body and can be run with or without a wing. Remember there is only a chance that you will get to race the 100 lapper as it is by drawing only and only 10 will run.
