Fairly new offroad track located on State Route 213, Hammondsville, OH. Not far from Wellsville, OH. Hobby shop is open 7 days a week from (I think) 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Phone number is 1-330-532-1783. Mostly GAS racing. T-Maxx/Savage/Dirt Demons in the Monster Truck Class, 1/10 gas truck class, and 1/8th scale buggy class. There is an 'Open' class for anything else. Not much electric racing, only because people aren't showing up to support it yet :) They race on an oval Saturday and offroad Sunday. Not sure on Saturday times, but Sunday, people arrive around 9:00 AM or so and racing starts around noon. Bring a source of power, as electricity isn't installed yet, a table, chair, and tent if you want shade. Big, big track. Lap times for 1/8th are 35 seconds and up. Practice can be done during the week as well.

I've run at Browns a few times this year and they have been running 1/8 scale and Truggy together. Mostly truggys though, I think at most there may have been 2 buggys last time I was there and there were 9 in the class. If he get 4-5 of each I'm sure he'll separate the classes. Bring an extention cord they do have electricity by the track

For all the dedicated outdoor racers, Brown's is up and running. We went there 2 times this year already. First week we had a turnout of over 55 entries. Second week we had about 45 entries. Very fun. Cost is $5 for the first class and $3 for each additional. The track has very good drainage and it is hard to "rain out." Classes are as follows: truggy, 8th buggy, 4wd mod corr, 2wd mod corr, monster truck, open, 2wd stadium truck.

the Losi 10 is very popular at this track. largest classes are 4wd corr, monster truck, and 8th buggy. Its a very large track and they have a large hobby shop with every part imagineable.

Racing starts at noon every sunday. Shop is open 7 days a week from 10am to 9pm.

At 5pm i called down to Browns and talked to Jeff. he said that after noon tomorrow the forecast is sunny and cloud free down there. He foresees no problems at all unless the creek rises too high. They will get out the leaf blowers and do as much track maintenance as necessary. im calling down in the morning to see if the forecast changed. I plan on going along with brandon

They need to change the layout up its been the same for years now. Other than that the hobby shop does have a lot of parts and if he dosent have it he can get it pretty quick.

Jeff said that he was doing a track change for this week but if the creek overflowed and it is supposed to rain wed. it may not be firm enough to change up the track. I will check with him and post up.

Goose Bumps or Bowties and Subcultures worked well for most conditions. Is there a timeline on a new layout in the works?

Had a great time at Brown's on sunday for $5 bucks you just cant beat it. The layout has not been changed but the table top has been freshened up and the big back stretch jump has been completely straightened out and shaped to perfection. It knocked down the lap times a second or two and tightened up the racing. Last sunday was the start of the points series but you have 8 races to get in 4 good runs so there is plenty of time get going and make a good showing for yourself. Truggy times are the 33 to 34 sec range. If your are tired of small tracks and really want to get your eighth scale rippen the way they should this is the place to go! The program runs quickly and you are out of there early enough to get home and take the wife out to dinner. They handed out the trophies for the last series and they are gigantic! The Hobby shop is well stocked and the turnout is very good. If there are 10 or more in your class, Jeff also gives out ribbons for your class.
