The track is in beaver Pa. Its a flat ozite track. They race 4 cell nascar, 6 cell nascar, 12th scale nascar, pretty much anything if atleast 4 cars are there. They race on Sat. Doors open up at 3pm and racing starts at 5. This is one of the few tracks that you win 10.00 if you win your A main and a free entry for all other mains.

no the turns are a littel tighter we run around 60 to 62 laps in 4 cell stock its fast and racey

I just need to get the push outta my car and I will be okay. Yeah that will be nice when they go to Sunday's that way it will allow more Classic guys to make the trip.

Some other things worth noting. The track has pit tables with plastic liner on them so you really dont need a pit towel. Also real clean pit area too. Shelfs can be borrowed also as well as Power strips.

Mike- that's fine, just don't break any bones, because you are taking a dog with you!! As we discussed on the phone, PROBABLY, the Raceway will change our racedays starting in September to Saturday ROADCOURSE, and Sunday OVAL (only) racing. This is in answer to the needs of our regular racers, as well as our "out-of-towners" who may only be able to travel on Sundays. If/when this happens, the Sunday opening time will be 1PM, with racing beginning at about 3PM. This would finish racing after dinner(PIZZA JOE'S Pizza!!!!!!!), and get everybody home by 9PM or so. No problem John. I enjoyed the track. You guys have a good group over there. It was nice to see Tom and Denny again too. I havent seen them since their last time at Classic.

Once you guys go to Sundays next carpet season maybe we can setup a Classic / River Junction shootout. 2 day event with points or something.
I have seen events like this on here such as the Sandhills/Tidewater shootout.

If it rains I plan on coming over more often this summer.

Wish I could but I have a wedding to attend. Actually I have things going on the next 2 weeks after that so my racing might be limited until later in June. If it rains I will be sure to make the trip. I will try and drag some other guys out as well from this area. I want to try my KSG out there on the flat track too. I am having a body painted up as we speak so it will be done the next time I come over.

I'm not sure if I'll be there or not. I was there last week ... first time in a month. Ran my standard 59 - can't get a 60. I picked up my new Terminator chassis. Yes, I got the Pro and I know you disagree with my choice. I haven't had time to work on the Terminator so it's debut will have to wait.

Maybe I'll be there on Saturday. It would be good seeing everyone again. I'm flattered that you asked about me but, believe me, I'll give you the inside when you're lapping me. I'm not that competitive.

Starting 8/03, we are going to be starting our "fall" race schedule, which will swap Sat & Sund race days. On 8/03/03 (Sunday)the doors will open at 1PM, and races start at 3PM for OVAL, with pizza arriving at 5PM. We will be racing Oval on 8/03; 8/10; and 8/24, with a break for Labor Day, then starting the full schedule (roadcourse Saturdays) in September. Thanks, John @ RJ

That is just part of what we will be doing. Here's the long version: starting on Sept. 1, 2003
Mondays- store & track closed
Tuesdays- store open 10-9PM; track closed for practice
Wednesdays- store open 10-9PM; track open for Oval practice/races?
Thursdays- store open 10-5PM; track CLOSED for change-over to road
Fridays- store open 10-9PM; track OPEN for ROADCOURSE practice
Saturdays- store open at least 10-9PM; 1PM doors open for ROADCOURSE; racing to begin at 3PM; pizza at 5PM
Sundays- store open 1-? race end; 1PM doors open for OVAL RACING; racing to begin at 3PM; pizza at 5PM
Monday- R&R (NOT!) placing orders, cleaning, etc.
The August schedule will only be for racing on the 3 dates, and the store hours will stay as they are, until September. Thanks again for racing here, and contributing your talents to our racership. John. :wave:

Hey Eric, the Bigguy hasn't gotten 65 yet, so........... I DO KNOW a way to get it though- I'll shorten the track infield & narrow it slightly, NOW THAT should do it! :lol: Anyway, I really hope this new schedule is good for the majority of racers and their families. This will allow those who race oval (in other places) to race 2-3 DAYS a weekend, and those who race roadcourse (in other places) to race 2 DAYS a weekend, **plus** our added bonus of Friday night practice for those who need it to conquer my fiendish roadcourses that I CHANGE WEEKLY!!!!
