Gentleman of the thread....i do agree that something has to be done. This is comming form someone who used to drive just as, if not worse than Allan. They only reason why i am acting on this subject is because i have felt the wrath of the meatstick. more then once i have been knocked down by the mighty one(Allan). It seems that he doens't even have to be in the race to do someting wrong, this was the case when the big crash in turn 2 happened a few weeks ago, it is common sense to not put a car in the middle of the turn so people have free hits on it.

I was also a menace on the track for quite some time,but with the help and advise of people that really care about racing I've grown into a racer that most folks don't mind racing with.
Again I would rather see him turn into a person that anyone would race with,rather than loose a racer.
It's just that you try to help.tell him what you see him or his car doing and he argues and sais it's fine,what am I supposed to do?
I can't believe he doesn't see his car going from wall to pipe on very lap!
He has run into the back of my car and yells at me for hitting him!

I agree with mike. When there is an obvious slower car (not alan)that everytime you come up on him he wants to race you like its the last lap for the win it gets a lil rediculas. Sometimes I wish alan was in my race, he is curtious to to cars coming up on him and usually gets out of the way without causing trouble. He does have a tendensy to go :roll: but i think if he would stick to 1 car he could eliminate some of this. I see it in alan that he is getting better. I think his people skills needs a lil work but being new to the sport I think its easier to blame the car then himself right now. He does need to stick with one car till he has a lil more time under his belt. Just my 2 cents :thumbsup:

Very good point.It was difficult to notice the good things about him during my venting.
Thanks for pointing that out.I'm probably gonna stick to Saturdays for a while,or until Eric and Snook finish my new car.
I'll try to renew my patience in the meen time and come back to oval with a better attitude and see if I can help to make him a better racer and to encourage others to over look a couple of bad traights and offer assistance also.Who knows,he may be a better person than I think.

Regarding the Mcallister bodies, the only knock I have seen people give is that they are narrow in the front (on the KSG and Hyperdrive) and short.

Not sure how they compare in weight to a Bolink or Proto. Usually with a wing and painted a Bolink is about 3.5-3.7 oz, a Proto 4.2oz range. I'd be curious to see what a Mcallister wieghs.

Sunday is oval racing. Track opens at 1:00, racing at 3:00.

Classes:
4 cell spec (spec batt and spec motor) not sure of other specific rules
4 cell stock
4 cell 1/12 stock
4 cell 19T 0 degree (on occasion)

Yeah I know I need to make it over there, but neither of my cars are setup right now for flat track. Nor is my 2nd speedo back from Keyence yet, ughhh.

Plus I dont have any HD bodies either.

I could probably get some tires rounded up from what I have.

Stock is a hoot there. In 4 minutes you can't blink.
Stock record is 76 laps and 19T 0 degree is like 85 or something around there. Crazyness

Hopefull for big turnout in Spec on sunday Panman HackG Cousin Eric Joe and myself should be there.

Sort by lap time insted of laps counted makes for some great door to door RACING. :cool:

Really its more trying to find the time to work on the car. I started to paint a new body with my airbrush I for x-mas and I messed the airbrush up trying to clean it, so Rob has to rebuild it for me, cause I am no airbrush guru.

I don't know though I wont be able to keep up with your Monster power now that you have that magnet zapper. I talked to Ricky he said every zapper reads different as far as what a good can's #'s should be. He said 500 on one might be good compared to his like a 470 was a good can. So it's hard to say.
If you got the EA one I'd check with Eric about it.

Oh for gawd's sake .... now I'm racing against a guy with a magnet zapper! It wasn't enough you guys have motors 10 watts higher than mine, you have to go and get another "go-faster" tool! That B main is getting closer and closer.

Snookie - really good to see you on the board. Someone said you had to have a blue anodized keyboard before you'd join the crowd. Snookie's monitor probably shows how many RPMs his typing fingers are doing - with a graph to boot.

well the results are in...snookie and i weighed the different bodies yesterday and with the full full slixx sticker kit and two coats of paint on both the proline dodge and the mcallister monte carlo the proline weighed 4.3 oz and the mcallister weighed 3.8 oz.After running the mcallister last sunday i am sold. :thumbsup:

You can always run one of the "Why be normal" classes and run something besides a pan car. You can run Sprints, East Coast Modifieds, or even BRP's a.k.a. "Tiny Buggers". If you have to run pan car put a late model body on it.
As far as the "meat stick", I've been to several tracks both dirt and carpet and there is always one in the crowd.
