tim, its not all about motors and batteries, work on your consistancy and setup. The two times i have raced oval i have leaned, setup is the key to speed, and carring speed through the corner for straight a-way speed. Don't worry if one guy is faster than you just work on things to make you faster and soon enough in time and practice, youll be up there with him.

First of all,I had a good time Sunday racing oval.
Second,I can say that, even though meastick was in my main!
It seems he has improved for some reason,on and off the track.
I just hope I'm not speaking to soon.I was also martialling his qualifier and mentioned to Bagger several times about his clean passes and lack of crying on the stand.
Many thanks to Bagger and snook for helping to shake down the new ride.Just need some more speed.

I had planned on biulding up a couple cars to sell and don't really have extra stuff if I sell parts.
Check with John and Sam,they have most of that stuff in stock,it's all pretty inexpensive.
I always try to help folks out,but try to keep my buisness dealings away from the track.I like to support people that race at the track,but I feel it's a fine line between helping the racers and hurting the hobby shop.
Just remember,you usually can't beet there prices anywhere.

The was some decent racing Sunday, mike was flying as usual, Buddylee did awsome, and I got a kick out of Shyniah driving the pikachomper.

If my money wasn't so tight, I would be at least practicing with something, right, wrong or indifferent. but thats how it goes when ya have 2 car payments. :eek:

Mike did you see Ray Finished 2nd out of 70 cars in the club race in Stock touring at the Birds.
The guy that finished 3rd, Rob Love is from the Cleveland area I think. The local boys are turning it up a notch I see.

Not sure when we can make it over.

Its gonna be tough cause guys will probably start going to Red Fox to practice for the State race on Sunday's. Then me and Rob got Mini T's and are gonna start racing them Sunday's in Ravenna.
They have a about a 90-95' runline oval and then they move one of the pipes and make it a road course. The track is perfect for the Mini's but pan car its kinda short and plus bumpy going into one of the turns.

Are you and Mike gonna make it down for the Red Fox race Saturday Feb 28? A few of us plan on going Friday to get setup then just split a room that night and hit the track early Saturday morning.
We should have a pretty stout stock class turnout.
Alot of guys from Classic are going plus the Y-city guys are coming up. Should be a National level caliber stock class.
I thought about running stock and 19T but I think I am just gonna run one or the other so I can focus on the ARCOR responsibilities that day too.
