Yes, but don't forget the space between the words or the teacher will make you stay after class and you won't be able to play with the other girls at recess. :( Hey, you guys have a great time this weekend. :hat:

What is the differance between the windings in a motor I know what the turns are the less turns the more power but what are the winedings like lets say "14 turn double" what is that and what is better more or less? seth p.s. thanks for letting the cat out of the bag Nate! maybe I might mess up your other leg. LOL! redbaron 07-20-2003, 12:14 AM 14 double less torque, smoother power band-good for slick tracks 14 single more torque accelerates faster- good for high bite, truck etc. Adams 44 07-20-2003, 01:05 AM Hey Seth, Saw a couple great deals on ebay for 2wd buggys and trucks...I will be sure and tell your wife how much the radio gear is for you x-4. HEY, LET'S BRING OUT THE 4wd Mods! We are getting a good class in 4wd mod. I hope everyone who has one or is thinking about getting one comes out. I have bought 6 cars in the last year and this is by far the best purchase I have made, they are a blast. Great Turnout today, 2 heats in the trucks. Last 2 quals everyone had fresh water with less then 4 minutes between heats and the laps were getting pretty fast. If you are thinking about coming to SUMMITT speedway, you definately need to come and support the track. The new scoring system is working without a hitch, Scott and Wank were at the controls today and everyone chipped in the track maintenance and had it done in less then 8 minutes. 2wd Mod will have a few next Sat., sorry I won't be there. Nick Adams centari5000 07-20-2003, 03:13 AM nick, seth man I gotta hand it to you guys in the 4wheel mod class ya'll were smokin yesterday. The more I watch ya'll run the buggies the more I think I am gonna have to get me one. Maybe next summer. I must say great turn out at summit saturday. Lets keep'em comin' fellas. See ya'll at the track. Harry Boggs B4MAN 07-20-2003, 06:18 PM What Tires Work For A 2wd Buggy? Adams 44 07-20-2003, 10:16 PM Harry, why wait till next summer, there is time to get one built and dialed in B4 the Championships. We can give you some opinions on what works and what not to get. B4man, most the buggies are running Evil's M3, X-2000 red or pink or Holeshots M3. Not really sure when it really slicks off, my tire selection seams to be lacking when it goes ultra slick. Actually had a blue groove start peeking through today. sheath 07-20-2003, 11:43 PM The A-main of the stock truck class was a great show of driving. I think you could have thrown a blanket over the entire field at any point in the first lap, and nobody needed to be marshalled. Very tight, but very clean. The 4WD buggys were looking good, too. Nathan and Nick were both landing the triple pretty consistently. They both broke the 21 second lap barrier, and dipped into the 20's a few times. I need to get a REAL mod motor and see what the ole' antique buggy can do. I think the best time was had by the novice class and the new guys in the stock truck class. B4MAN 07-21-2003, 12:51 AM that answers my question for rear tires but what about fronts for 2wd buggy? Adams 44 07-21-2003, 09:50 AM B4man, I am running BK 2 rib prescrub red. You might ask barron or d.hill. wallyworld 07-22-2003, 01:19 AM Whats the latest on the brushless motors? Anybody using one from this area yet? Wouldn't mind trying one if they don't have any reliability issues with the speed controls. I've also heard they are coming out with a pro version. DriverX 07-22-2003, 01:06 PM who's racing this comming saturday?? anybody running Mod buggy?? tracey redbaron 07-22-2003, 01:28 PM Why DriverX, U RUNNIN ? dynoman007 07-22-2003, 02:42 PM yes there will be mod buggy class .... nathan ,corey ,phil, myself, maybe more :D DriverX 07-22-2003, 04:15 PM yes I'm in I will be there for sure running buggy stock or mod I hope you coming HOLDING MY OWN 07-22-2003, 04:33 PM im there driverx, i dont know how set-up will be, and i work till noon so their wont be any practice but what the hey, you have to lose to someday win, right???? Besides your batteries! I'll be there Sat. for the mod buggy slide! centari5000 07-23-2003, 10:20 PM ok ya'll I am torn. I want to buy my first buggy. What would be good to start with a 2wd or 4wd? I am a losi man so it is either the xxx or xxx4. Any suggestions Adams 44 07-23-2003, 10:51 PM Well, I just talked to your fellow Quad buddy last night and he said that he will most likely have a xxx-4 ready and dialed by the championship. IMO the xxx-4 is the most fun car I have bought yet and I love the 2wd but I am having so much more fun with 4. It is easier to drive than the 2wd and it is faster. I realize that some people are going to run 2wd mod in which case they are both as fast as you want to spend. 4wd: - you will be running only Modified, which means you will have to have a good speed control and 3000+ on bats - Mod motor is double the cost of stock $60 - You will be going faster, which means breaking more parts...I know I sure break alot, but I seam to have an ON or OFF throttle finger. - Plan on spare arms, shock towers, hinge pin braces, wings and wing mounts. - Mod motor needs more maintenance, which means a lathe or access to a lathe and brushes. Nathan, me ar a few other people all have lathes that can cut it for you for a small convienence fee, He he.. - the 4wd does require more maintenance then the 2wd. We are rebuilding our diffs after every race day. - 4wd class died out for awhile but sure seams to be coming back in force. - Within the next year a graphite kit is almost sure to come out, even though they may break alittle easier. ....Is it obvious how excited I am about the xxx-4??? 2wd: - I am a Losi man too, but I sure like the tranny and the rear arms on the B4. Either car can accomplish the same thing. - Less maintenance, still rebuilding the diffs after every race day - A little harder do drive and harder to setup. Those are some things you may want to consider. I love both. Running 2 cars is a little tough, but not that bad. Just keep that charger going. I am glad to hear you are looking into them. Sounds like we may wind up with a strong 4wd class on a weekly basis soon. Nick redbaron 07-23-2003, 11:14 PM I have both. get a 2 wheel, not many 4wd running anymore. xxx4 not very durable. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
