well, 1 or 2 have but its been awhile since ive messed with them you know alot of nitro :thumbsup: if you have any ideas on the stockers it would be appreciated... got to get in practise with the electrics(see cant even spell the word) :devil: state race is around the corner, you know what i mean..

no, i cant race sat... i had planned to race last sat, but mother nature didnt agree.. im going to the lake for my birthday and my uncles.. i want to be their but i cant.. next weekend though.. sorry man.. :(

what is better about the FM over the AM???? I want to step up to the FM but its a lot of $ and I have the option of getting a new radio hear soon. I have 4 cars and all are AM. Before I bye a new radio I was wondering if its worth it to go FM.

I just saw on the Summit site that there is an electric off-road state race. I thought that race was Aug 29-31 at RcWorld? was there a change of tracks?

I believe it's very similar to your radio you listen to... the FM band is clearer and cleaner than the AM band. You mentioned you have 4 cars also. A lot of radios are out now with multiple model memory, that will store all of you radio setting for multiple cars. Most of these are on FM. This allows you to run all 4 cars with just one transmitter. (not all at the same time....)

b3 borntofly, cool its good you have a sence of humor we should have fun :thumbsup: as far as john losing every week ive raced with that guy for a long time, if he puts his time in that buggy hes hard to beat.. but on the other hand dave is fast, if you put a well set up xxx in his hands he might do the same as he does with his b4.. it all depends on what your comfortable racing with... and besides i havent raced mine their yet and neither has driverx so watchhhhhhhhhh out here we come... the 1/8 will be fun just be patient if you havent had one it can be frustrating.. and besides and do love my electrics im just a little out of practice, hopefully its like riding a bike... you have to lose to someday win!!! :)

Maybe I will put my buggy on the track this weekend.... no better place to find out how you are doing, than in competiton.

sheath very true unfortunitly(sp) i cant this weekend, the birthday thing, hopefully we will be able to get everybody to start to through down their buggies and trucks for that matter... everybody keep in mind that saturday is ft waynes big race and on sunday the r/c barn is having a cash payback race, so you can race at our track sat. drive about 45 min., and race on sunday.. they say the weather is supposed to be good, everybody cross your fingers!!!! :roll:

This is just to comment on the state race as I got a few phone calls form friends in MI that wanted to know if this was a ROAR sancutioned race. The reason they asked is we had a problem in MI for a indoor carpet onroad state was that ended up being "the Offical Unoffical Michigan State On-Road Championship." It was because the state races are put on by ROAR if someone plasces the bid for the race. I just thought I would let you know.

Also don't have a race that is the name as another known race. It gets really confusing when multiple races have the same name.

well people, looks like this weekend just might shape up nice... hopefully track maintanence(sp) is being done in ft wayne, r/c barn is doing theirs!! should be race filled weekend, racing saturday at summit and 50 percent cash payback on sunday at the barn, that includes nitro and electric!!! any ????'s, just ask... :thumbsup:

it will great from a racer's view if 1 track runs sat. and the other track runs sun. for me it's a 35-45 minute drive to rc barn and ft. wayne track. looks like same setup will work on either track. I hope owners can work something out so a racer can run both tracks the same weekend.

papamerkle, your its awesome, and you can run both tracks in one weekend.. ft waynes track is now running on sat. :thumbsup: mark (the r/c barn) runs on sundays.. so it is possible, you can definately run both races.. set-up is real cose maybe a tire change.. any ???'s let me know ive running at r/c barn for about 6 years...

driverx i dont know yet still need to break in new gas truck motor but definatly 1/8 may buggy or truck depending what their is the most of remember the more entrees the more cash!!!!! :dude: how about you???
