cory30: yea there was only 6 of us. I decided to run alittle late in the day. We had a good time though. did alot of setup changes to improve lap times.

Hey Thanks John,
before the track change, nathan and I were just breaking into the 19's. I really love that class. The car was real twitchy last weekend, I was trying a lot of different stuff which didn't quite workout.
Sure wish you didn't sell yours. I guess we all want to see 10 cars in the mains.

thom yeah i could prolly do the whole paint brush rivit thing but it might look better with a sticker kit for that. I will look into it and see what i can find out for you.

I had a great time at the race's today. And Dave you done a great job on the puter, You do have a sencse of humor while doing it, But the next time tell Tracy and I that there is some one nocking on our back doors so we don't do this again.lol

I know they had a trencher out there Tuesday, and buried the coax cable for the scoring loop. They also buried it in a piece of tubing or pipe, so that if it would fail in the future, they can pull another wire through the tube without digging up the track again. I don't think they made any changes to the track itself.

welps another great day of racing from summitt rc i had much fun watching a few of the guys get a lil faster than they have ever gone ..

for all of you guys that have never run on carpet you need to begin to think of this winter and let us know what you want to do are we gonna run the trucks on road ,,,oval ,,,, stadium style or what .......

Is their any plans for a new layout for the trophy race? Track is pretty beat up.

At one time there was talk of a new layout for the offroad track before the September Indiana race, but it does not look like they will be able to get that accomplished before then.
Tuesday, September 2nd will be a work day for taking care of some of the spots that need repair, reworking/repairing/changing the jumps etc. If you have any suggestions on what needs to be done, let us know. What would improve the jumps? Bigger, smaller, flatter, steeper, different shape... whatever. Let us know, or better yet, come out Tuesday and help make it happen.

2). make some of the jumps smaller.
3). make one flatter
4). and with a diffrent shape like steeper

I got 3rd in stock truck A-main, Austin got 10th in stk truck A-main. I got 1st in stock buggy B-main

Mods got rained out but after one round Austin was qualified 3rd and I was qualified 5th.... Austin was crankin in mod truck!
