I ran 2wd mod buggy when I broke in 4wd mod and my lap times were SLOWER then running a stock motor! I know it sounds crazy, but that is what happened. Running mod will also magnify any setup problems. I wouldn't be afraid to run a good stock motor.

well dave(hank) don't look back cause you won't like what you see cause I had not drove a 2wd buggy since the newest latest car was the losi JRX2 prolly 1990 or longer. so soon we will treat you to a big time woopen so get your fill of that touring car and then bring it. and buff don't scare me he did not do it in the touring car either it will be good to see him again.

You guys run 2 wheel mod don't ya? Hopefully the damn truck will be arriving soon. It'll be nice to run truck again and actually enjoy it. T2....most awesome truck I've ever driven....T3...uh...well, didn't like it..let's put it that way..mildly. T4 was done right, and I have a feeling, will win it's share of titles in the future.

By the way, what tires are you guys running in buggy? Front and rear? Dave tells me that Evil Twins are working pretty well. I would assume silver or red wide ribs up front?

hey Chad! what up in indy? Tires...wow...kinda strange track. Dave H. is running kit fronts what ever that is. Last week i liked big shots the best was runnin 7202 silver fronts. I had grey inserts in the rear to free it up a little. surface is kinda like Lynn... hard packed, with some loose laying on top. last week they had 8 mod buggies.

Track doesn't look to good guys. Was going to stop by about 10PM to work on clearing the drains and there was to much thunder and lightning. :freak: I will be at the track by 8AM, as Nate said call me for an update.

Red I got the stuff it was in a box in the basement with lots of vintage losi stuff the kit is for the xx car hehe also talked to losi and they are sending me all the hardware all but the bars they said that the bars are what is the problem they have been rejecting all the bars as they come in and until they get it right they will not say when they will be avalible(sp) but with their help I found a old number for same part funny how that works ...

Has anyone heard how much rain the track got last nite? I tried to call the track, got no answer.

there is alot of factors.
#1 Don't wreck, serious, it's the single biggest factor.
#2 practice alot and don't burn up your race motor practicing. have a junker motor for practice.
#3 play with your setup to find what works for you.
#4 take good care of your stuff. These are real race cars and require alot of maintenance to keep them preforming at a top level.
#5 good batteries and charger always helps as long as #1-#4 is done.
