Scratch that Lar, Gene is going to close our track for a weekend it June & we want to find out when that is before we decide when to go to Omaha. I'll let you know as soon as I know.

I called & talked to Tim today & that was the original plan but they are now planning on running every weekend through the summer except the major holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day etc).

Ok, I will talk to everybody and see if we can get a bunch of guys to go. :thumbsup: just let us know what weekend.

I am planning on going to Omaha on the 27th. I'm not sure how many will go from here but I should be there. Gene is planning on closing the track towards the end of next month for an air show so a bigger group from here may go up then.

The website says they open at 10:00 & start racing at 1:00. I will call Tim when it gets closer to the 27th & find out for sure.

BrentP - Are they open on Saturday for practice?

I'm not sure, they used to run on road an Saturday's but now that they are outside for the summer it is possible that we could get in to practice Saturday. I'll ask Tim when I call them & let you know for sure.
