jason crist 12-07-2003, 10:46 PM Ok any of you racing this Saturday the 13th better bring the good stuff
it will take 66 to qualify for the A main in 19 turn
after this past saturday only 4 of us ran 19 turn, but was so close and at 66 laps was a good race for all
from what i here should be a good turn out for 19 turn and 4 cell stock
as for 4 cell stock record is still there at a 59 and yes anyone running it this saturday will get a chance to break it still
thanks to all the guys at summitt who put on a good show
thanks
jason
Mark Recio 12-07-2003, 11:05 PM Jason,
I don't know about that. 65 yes, but since only one other guy other then Jamie has gone 66 anything, we'll see.
19-turn interloper Dwight Smith had his BSR/Pole Position/Putnam powered KSG dialed in with a 66 4:03:00, only .5's slower then Jamie's record run. He was the class of the field and on the pole for the main. With some bad racing luck he finished 2nd, only a .10 th back of the winner.
Jason is right, there should be a good group in Ft. Fun for next weekend in all classes.
How 'bout it MI & OH guys? Zubak, Ulbrik(s), Eli & John...?
dynoman007 12-08-2003, 12:53 AM what about that driving exhibition that was put on by the truly gifted one and only race director /announcer in the legend class .... i was on a 68 lap pace until my bulk oem batteries let me down i would like to send a big shout out to bolink for making the tires that held all of that horsepower down to the track and last but not least to futaba for making that fine magnum sport am radio and 230r speed control package for the low low ............ :D
Mark Recio 12-08-2003, 08:55 AM That guy was awsome...quite the wheel!
Did you know you'd be running road course 4 times on saturday night?
jason crist 12-08-2003, 04:10 PM hey dynoman
4 cell stock rematch this saturday ?
me and you and who ever wants some
mark
ya maybe 65,but i'll take a 66 to make sure i'm in the A mian
and
leading edge ran better than the KSG did for me so maybe have to run T2 again and qaulify at a 66
lol
jason
bluelineracer 12-08-2003, 04:14 PM stock????hmmmmm......
jason crist 12-08-2003, 04:25 PM Dusty

lol
should be fun
jason
Mark Recio 12-08-2003, 04:58 PM Jason,
Not sure on this one, but it might have had something to do with the rear track width you were running on it. 1/4 outside the left frame rail is a bit much! :freak:
Like I said, I think we'll all have fun this weekend, regardless of how fast or slow we go.
ttyl,
Mark
DaveW 12-08-2003, 05:50 PM Look for a stranger this weekend, Make sure those bumpers are on good.
Rumor from the north. Be on the lookout for 67 laps. The 19t track record at Lansing fell by a full lap last Friday night.
bluelineracer 12-08-2003, 06:02 PM dave w....don't tease me with a brent lane showing. :D
wow...the travel budget alloted to the LE team must be substantial...you loosening up dave? hope you guys can make it.

Sweet...Habanos from north of the boarder... :dude:
DaveW 12-09-2003, 02:25 PM Hey Dusty
Someone steal your ladder or is everyone to lazy to climb the pole to answer the phone around there?
Mark Recio 12-09-2003, 03:40 PM He's bussy with paris... :drunk:
bluelineracer 12-09-2003, 04:37 PM wow........dave w. slingin' it.

Mark Recio 12-13-2003, 01:05 AM Monti,
check your pm
Mark Recio 12-14-2003, 01:46 PM Well, it was a fast, but slow, night at the Ft. yesterday. Monti panzica went 66 three out of three trys last night, including the main. Monti had the Rural-Motorsports KSG/BSR car running good enough to up the record to a 66 4:01 in his second run.
After some computer problems, the mains were set, and again, Monti put another 66 on the board.
Good run everyone!
jason crist 12-14-2003, 02:39 PM yes congrats Monti on your track record
after jamie hanson had the track record with his Leading Edge T2
Monti did re-set it and with his 66 laps in the A main took the win
But
he was followed close by Dominic Reese in his
Leading Edge T2 who took a second place
Wait, hey Mark
let me see if i remember right
1st place Monti with his leased KSG car
2nd place Dominic with Leading Edge T2
3rd place Jason Crist with Leading Edge T2
4th place Brent Lane with Leading Edge T2
can't recall the rest
but yes Mark
LEADING EDGE is running stronge
lol Mark
jason

XXX-Fan 12-21-2003, 12:57 AM Mark,
As of right now, it is a go for the Fort Saturday. Are they running the quad mag motors there?
Randy
Greg Anthony 12-21-2003, 02:03 AM well, how did everything go tonight? who was fast, who won?
Mark Recio 12-21-2003, 03:47 AM Randy, Cool deal. I'd assume yes on the quads. Don't know if anyone has run them yet, but I've seen them in plenty of pits.
Greg,
Your brother managed a 66 03 with the Associated car tonight in a qualifer. He ran well, but had some trouble in the main.
See you all next weekend - I'm tired =(
dynoman007 12-21-2003, 04:17 AM thx once again for all of the guys who come in from out of town to race with us ....most of you guys know how much we appreciate the support for our local track here in the fort....

alexaj46 12-21-2003, 11:13 AM Mark, enjoy racing with you and Dwight last night and maybe if you can help fine some those fancy tires you were running, it might be able to keep up with you all. I surf around and can’t seem to fine any in stock . Do you know anyone who may have them in stock? Cya next time…. Jim
Mark Recio 12-21-2003, 12:15 PM Dave, I think he went a 69 01 in qual 2...could be wrong.
Jim, Give John a call, or look him up at http://www.bsr-racing.com or teambsr@worldnet.att.net
C-ya!

See you all next weekend - I'm tired =(
It was a 66 4:02.96 in the 2nd qualifier with a 10L3 with the Factory Team Conversion and bunches of IRS parts. And Monti the setup I ran was the one I copied off of your car. I think I could have gone faster in the last round but they turned the heat off and the track tighten up a TON.
Mark it was good racing with you and Dwight. Should be a good crowd next week for the Half off trophy race. I think I am going to race at Lansing on fri again too. See you guys next week.
Brain
Xpressman 12-21-2003, 02:34 PM Dwight and Mark,

Jim...like Mark said, get with John at BSR for tires. He will point you in the right direction. FYI, I was on three pinks and a purple right front. I think Mark was on the same set up as well. Thanks for running with us!
Brian...nice job with the AE ride! 66 4:029 is moving on. Email me through hobby talk and I'll get back to you.
Monti...Mark has your chassis. Thanks again for helping me out on that deal.
Sonny...good luck with your quest to reset the TR's. I'll be interested to see how you make out in 1/12!
