i'm unavailable this weekend. but i'm good the weekend of the 22nd. dave,brad,fox,dom,o'mali...any of you guys in?

Sonny Brown
11-13-2003, 11:53 AM
Looks like the only thing I'll be driving this weekend is a u-haul. If it's like all my others rides I'm sure it will be tight in and loose off. :D

The 22nd sounds good to me as long as the UPS man shows up, or maybe I can pick up a ride again with my West Coast owner (DK)….

Anybody from the Fort know if they got the new carpet down this week.

The 22nd sounds good to me as long as we don't have an away playoff game. Actually having to work really hurts the racing program. I hope I can keep up with you guys now.

I can't make it this weekend. I would llike to make it back up on the 22nd, but not sure yet if I'll be able to.

bluelineracer,
Whats up champ? Eric and I are going the 22nd. Anyone running 4-cell stock? That is the only motors we have to run. We figured we better get at least a couple races in before S-Birds.LOL!!!
Talk to you later..

gaerte guys...ya better be there! i'm trying to get the faster malicoat (hi bill) to go up and run stock. i'm having a good time with 19 turn but will need to re-focus on stock before the florida trip. i know bad brad will be there shaking down the new ride. sonny..it's there if you need it..i've developed a fondness for the solid car recently:) who knows what panzica will be wheeling by then...and persistent rumors of senior malicoat's return appear to be substantiated. and what about the recio machine? sounds like 3 bishops, a cardinal and the pope might be able to get there car going around again. oh boy...the 22nd looks good.

...If they don't fix it, you might want to put the Swiss Guard on alert for the greater Ft. Fun area...

We made the playoffs and the good thing is we are hosting the first round this weekend and the game is at noon so I will beable to race. I here there should be a pretty good turnout. So, Monti and Kevin how many laps?

Mark Recio
11-17-2003, 12:26 AM

It is more fun to hear it from the guys that don't have the record.

What I would like to know is how mnay laps with a 40 oz. car????

Mark Recio
11-17-2003, 10:40 AM
Not sure we'll have an opportunity to have a true head to head comparison on the 38oz car vs/ 40oz car. Isn't the new carpet going in this week? If so, saturday should be slower anyway.

Sonny Brown
11-17-2003, 10:50 AM
I think Monti and Kevin's car have been right at 40oz all season.

New carpet. I will say one of the rural motorsports entrys will lay down a fast 61 for theTQ.

Mark Recio
11-17-2003, 11:21 AM
I think you are right, either Dusty's primary or the backup, wheeled by yours truly.

OH S%!t I was going to pant up a new body for this weekend! I think Dusty is right it will be nice to see the Malicoats there "right now anyway"!

So is it offical will there be new carpet down this weekend? If so then 62 will be the number!

As for 40 oz I probally have been close all fall I have never checked it though.

Mark you might want to get a Kydex bumper I heard they can be bent back into place!

-Monti-

bluelineracer

i think they should do a team driving effort...dustin steers and bill controls the throttle/brake. that way they can always say "it wasn't me!"
monti...did you say pant up a new body? all black seems fast
you biased against country folk or too busy to return calls?

Yes Monti the new carpet is going in this week form what I heard on saturday. They are putting a rush on it as they know many people are going to come this weekend and this way it will also be done for the Thanksgiving Trophy race on November 30th.

So everyone that is out there who is going to come to the race on the 30th?

dynoman007
11-21-2003, 03:12 PM
we will be finishing up installing the walls around the track this evening and begin to see how the groove comes in .......

the difference is night and day in the carpet this is very low nap with zero fibres that can become loose .... its also a bit lighter than the stuf crc sent us the first time.....

thanks to Lee Harpe and son ,Ron Ferguson ,Timmah ,The Slamley Boys ,
The Monroes ,and a few others i may be leaving out the carpet was laid down without a hitch and is extremely flat ...........

as he's the shy, non-boasting type....i'll say it for him. sonny b. flat layed it down this weekend. new track record(arrrgghhhh) tq'd and walked away with the main. monti had some stuff for him...which will be debated by those two for many months...and i was decent..but not in "brownville zip code" recio tuned the backup ride to a 63 lap b-main win...i think it just took too long to get the seat fitted properly. dugan found the speed..and dom was running handicapped. and o'mali.....he's got some motivation now. missed brad and dave..? pri show and the holidays delay my return until the 13th..we'll see if monti's got it tuned up for the illinois invader
your turn Mark.....

11-24-2003, 11:53 AM
Congrats to Sonny...so what is the new record?

How was the new carpet?

I did not get the new car together in time for the road trip, so I just ran over to New Castle to shake it down instead.

So, what's the schedule for Sunday?
Do we need to bring tables, chairs, cords, etc.
If I can convince the wife to come, I'll be there.
Wisconsin is too far for me this weekend.

bluelineracer
11-24-2003, 02:21 PM
hey brad...65 4:00 i think....it was a pretty clean run but 66 will go up the next time there. i really think this carpet will be close to 'birds now as bite comes early and fastest runs happen in 1st qualifier..GREAT testing grounds now. there were 3.6's all day long...sonny put together 20 in a row to monti's disgust :freak:
they did a fantastic job with the carpet...smooth,no fuzz, excellent. although i'm still fond of the old stuff. i'm going to make myself run stock the next time back...but i might get on the jim alexander plan and just stay on the stand all night...anyone have a touring car ride available?

Jamie,

Unfortunately I won't beable to make it. We are in the playoffs for football so it is a good thing I don't get to race now.

I would bring atleast your A game because guys are flying. I hear it should be a good crowd. Runline is somewhere around 150. Give or take to make you guess the rest of the week.
