See you guys in a couple of weeks. Xpressman you need to thank Monti he's the won sporting the Ryan Newman tanks...LOL Xpressman 10-14-2003, 01:25 AM Another fun weekend at the Fort. I think the A-main Sunday was the longest 4 minutes I've ever driven. Thanks to the Summit and PDX crew for a smooth show. See you guys in a couple of weeks. Xpressman you need to thank Monti he's the won sporting the Ryan Newman tanks...LOL Thank you Monti. Sonny, I still was ruinning 3.9 at the end of the run when I was running a pack that cycled out at 1.09. I don;t get it all I can think is my speedo is set wrong. Also do you think my handling problem was from the .015 rear steer in the car? Who would have thunk I had rear steer. Brian Anthony T.M. R/C Racing Components smokey 10-14-2003, 07:34 AM i had a great time......you guys put on great show.....C3 and i will be back Sonny Brown 10-14-2003, 10:08 AM I had about the same amount of rear steer. I don’t think that was it. I think it had more to do with your RF tire selection. My guess is your car was probably a little tight at first and as the tire heated up the car started to turn a little better. Your RF's were vary tacky after the race. Good idea to check the speedo setting too. sheath 10-14-2003, 10:33 AM The results from both Saturday and Sunday's race should be posted late tonight (Tuesday, 10/14), after Tuesday night road course racing. Click here for our results page.... Results page (http://hometown.aol.com/sheath9831/racewayresults.html) We apologize for the delay. PDXRACING 10-15-2003, 12:04 AM Hey All, thanks for the nice comments!! But as I have said before, without the racers coming out and racing, my job would mean nothing. Thanks again... had a blast and have been talking non-stop about more races just like this one to come!! Sheath, I'd like the .html files from 10-11-03mains.html, 10-11-03racers.html, 10-12-03mains.html and finally the 10-12-03racers.html and I will also post them on the PDX syte. Here are some pics from the weekend: http://pdxracing.sytes.net/10-12-03pics.html See ya at the Track... Greg June - PDX RACING sheath 10-15-2003, 01:23 AM Greg, The 'mains' files are on the way. I will get the 'racer' files to you as soon as I can get back to the track. PDXRACING 10-15-2003, 08:44 AM I've updated the syte... click here to see the results and pics from the weekend.... http://pdxracing.sytes.net/10-12-03pics.html More to come... will post racers results soon. See ya at the Track... Greg June - PDX RACING alexaj46 10-15-2003, 12:41 PM Hey guys, what did you do different for the start of the mains? looks like everyone first lap was 3sec faster than on Saturdays mains. Jim bluelineracer 10-15-2003, 01:57 PM good point jim. alot of 1.1 second laps up front. i was beating myself up for not going 61 in the main but a first lap like that would get me there. hope to be back 1st weekend of november...track has a good 'ol hobbytown feel to it. dusty BHayes 10-15-2003, 02:41 PM In the mains on Sunday, we started on the back stretch, and the timing loop is right at the end of the backstretch. So as soon as you get off the grid, you are crossing the line, and therefore completing a lap. In the qualifiers, we ran IFMAR starts, so when you crossed the line you started your clock, but did not get credit for completing a lap until the second time you crossed the line. Maybe on Saturday, there was a longer delay set in the computer, so it missed the first time you crossed the line. That is my guess. Xpressman 10-15-2003, 02:42 PM Hey guys, what did you do different for the start of the mains? looks like everyone first lap was 3sec faster than on Saturdays mains. Jim The only thing I could think is they had the delay set the right way for Sunday. If the internal delay is not set for the start of the race then it won't read that 1.1 sec first lap as it is faster then the delay. Sonny Brown 10-15-2003, 02:53 PM Jim It was all in the holeshot... :D Either the delay was not set or they forgot to over ride it by holding the shift key down to all the cars cleared the line. sheath 10-15-2003, 03:01 PM Speaking as the guy that ran the scoring system Tuesday night for club road racing, I did notice that the delay was set at zero... which means for the mains, the clock starts on the tone, and each time you cross the line, no matter how soon after the tone that is, you get counted for a lap. A delay of 2 or 3 seconds would allow the field to cross the start/finish line the first time without being counted immediately. I believe the system was set up with a delay, prior to Sunday's race. As was said before, for staggered start qualifying, it doesn't matter, since your clock doesn't start until the first time you cross the line. Ruzzell 10-15-2003, 04:02 PM Great job by the Summit crew and PDX Racing. It's the most fun I've had with my clothes on for a long time. I suppose dynoman owes me one for the creative driving I did in the 4 cell main. I will have to visit you guys again soon to give him a chance for a little payback!! By the way what kind of handle is dynoman... I just don't think it fits him... something more like " The Hilljack from Tennessee" or "REDNECK RACER" what do you guys think? Yeeeeehaaaaa!  alexaj46 10-15-2003, 04:39 PM wow 0 to 146feet in 1.1sec now that's fast! cya next time Jim. PDXRACING 10-16-2003, 01:05 PM I've updated the results from the Summit races. The races are now on seperate pages and include both the Main results as was as the racers results(each round racer/time). I too noticed the lap times for the Mains... sorry about that opening lap thing. There is a way to adjust the first lap delay and will have to make it right the next time... basically take one lap off the time and keep the total time for the run. At the Velo you have 10sec. to get across the line or it does the same thing... we'll get it. The results are exactly the way they came from the computer... I will change all the total laps/times and state the change when I can get to it... for now... off the that thing called the "real job"!! Yuck. Thanks again and we'll see ya at this track soon!! Greg June - PDX RACING dynoman007 10-16-2003, 01:28 PM yo that was cold russsss and yes im ready for you i was a lil pokey but i got that fixed now ....... lol Sonny Brown 10-16-2003, 01:57 PM Greg don't worry about changing all the laps. Not that big of a deal. I think most of us can subtract 1, although you may need to help Huffer out with the math. :D PDXRACING 10-16-2003, 09:29 PM LOL, I told him that 11th toe would come in handy!! Brian I think the choice is clear, it's race time!!! Mark Recio 10-28-2003, 03:22 PM So.... What fine classes will we all be running this weekend? Monti007 10-28-2003, 03:27 PM 19 turn and I am going 63! I will have HP! -Monti- Mark Recio 10-28-2003, 03:32 PM I see you out there Blueline...aparently it's all HP and no car...so...no car for him  Xpressman 10-28-2003, 09:05 PM 19 turn and I am going 63! Monti007 10-28-2003, 11:38 PM Brain, think about this, If I loan out #14 don't you think that there might be something better in the other case? HEHE! Xpressman 10-28-2003, 11:59 PM Brain, think about this, If I loan out #14 don't you think that there might be something better in the other case? HEHE! I just want to make sure you don't use it. Besides I have cells that are good enough to put a hurricane to shame. Though it really wouldn't be hard to do that. Xpressman 10-29-2003, 12:01 AM Brain, think about this, If I loan out #14 don't you think that there might be something better in the other case? HEHE! Also, did you forget the "other case" at regionals???? Monti007 10-29-2003, 12:41 PM You still have to have a good car in order to take full advantage of Voltage. How ever if you ask Sonny why I am fast he will say that it is just becasue of my voltage. I just think that he wishes he could be like me! -Monti- Mark Recio 10-29-2003, 12:55 PM So does that mean you are only taking partial advantage of it? Greg Anthony 10-29-2003, 02:54 PM Also, did you forget the "other case" at regionals???? Xpressman 10-29-2003, 06:37 PM You still have to have a good car in order to take full advantage of Voltage. How ever if you ask Sonny why I am fast he will say that it is just becasue of my voltage. I just think that he wishes he could be like me! -Monti- I'm an on-road guy and I will take the most voltage I can get any day of the week over the best handling car. After all if it just doesn't work drive it like Zubie. (wheelie down the back straight...the wrong way) Frank Ulbrik 10-30-2003, 11:35 AM So what class is everyone running this weekend? Im looking for somewhere to race. HYPERDRIVE TQ cells T.M. PUTNAM Mark Recio 10-30-2003, 11:38 AM Frank, 19turn...both 10th and 12th... c-ya! Xpressman 10-30-2003, 11:42 AM So what class is everyone running this weekend? Im looking for somewhere to race. HYPERDRIVE TQ cells T.M. PUTNAM Frank, I think Sonny and Monti are going to eb there to run 19t and I think there will be more coming up from the Indy area as well. Not sure if I will be there yet or not it depends on if I travel with the team this weekend or not. Normally there are a couple heats or 4-cell stock and 19t, most of the other classes are stock gearbox, 6-cell stock, and touring car stock. The track is very Hobbytown Indy like about 148 ft on the runline. If you do go try and get the track record away for T.M. and away from Monti. Also if you have anyway of getting ahold of the three wisemen (Deano, Mel, and Racknor) talk to them as I know they were thinking about coming down sometime. Brian Anthony T.M.
