NO 6-CEELY FOR ME. i don't have a battery tray for it. it's up to u jason. 19turn probably won't have a good enough turn out. so it'll probably be stock. plus i'd have to buy a motor. so it's ur call jason.

That car was a rocketship!!!!!!!! I just cleaned the motor, put a gear on it that i ran at Lapaz on friday night...(set new track record!!!!!!)...and put it on the track Saturday night......from what my boyz running the computer said I was....key word there is WAS on a slow 64 fast 63 lap pace till the other boyz wanted to start rubbing.......lol

Kinda pissed me off about the 2nd heat......that is why I aborted the run........might go to there place and race.......on Friday.....who knows........


If ya wanna run 6 cell stock for fun...and keyword is for fun........I might put it on the racing surface.......but ya all gotta play nice......... :thumbsup:

Me personally I'm getting used to the 4 cell stuff. Managed to get the car up to a 57 pace on Sunday (Triple Crown) but couldn't hold it........

Think I found a way to get the 122 spur I need to make it run right on "4 flat Jenny"....aka the trusty old l4 slider.......lol

Me personally after the other 6 cell guys left I had the most fun hanging with Tj Domark.......that dude is cool.......I gots to hold and breathe on the new Trinity car.............and I was :freak: out!!! LOL

Anyways.......I'm out...gotta get some sleep...this ovewrtime stuff is payin the bills....but man it doesn't leave me anytime to get in the secret speed lab..........

Summit Raceway will be putting in a dirt oval surrounding our off - road track this spring with intentions of racing by early may. That's the last thign I need in the fleet is a couple of $600 Custom Works cars. Well as long as I am still in the area count me in for a sprint car class and a 2wd class. I will do some looking into what is popular.

Sorry bout that Dave.......Oh yeah...by the way Dave...keep in mind that we are in the works for a big...and I mean big end of season race for Fort Wayne.......and the Brp's are invited to compete for a trophy(plaque)

And guys don't forget oval racing doesn't stop during the summer......the dirt oval at the fort, high speed Velodrome action in Indy, and some of the best short track action on the fastest short track (concrete) on the planet in Lagrange.........204 ft driveline, 10 degrees of banking in the corners.....2.5 in the straights......each corner has it's own characteristics......this track is a drivers track!!!!!

Myself I run a EDM, basicly its a old B-2 with a East coast Mod body. Run it Mod. I run Mod truck (t-4) and when enough show a Dominator. I havent run it against T/C's yet.
I think you should have:
Sprints
Trucks
a Late model class
And a EDM class.

For examples try out www.dirtoval.com I race at RVR in Bradley IL. They have a 200' drive line as a TRI Oval. It is WICKED FAST. I ran a 5.6 lap with a stock T-4 and a 13X3. They also run Nitro on Saturday nights with the same classes. RVR's web site is www.rvr.8m.com
The only thing to think about is Direct drive and Gear box classes.
I will run when I can. I will bring all 4 cars and 5 when the sprinter shows. The Dominator is colecting more dust than anything.

Well I have a old 15 year old RC10T that will do the job just fine.
Sounds like a good time to me, maybe we can hummmm the windows with electro racing... I LOVE loud nitro power but ya gotta do what ya gotta do, It will still be a GREAT time.

Ohh yea if anyone has old RC JUNK to donate get with Krisfo... I have been trying to put together a JUNK YARD WARS project for RC... teams have to build a project out of 90% RC JUNK ONLY.

i have nothing up my sleeve and nothing special.
infact i took three 4 cell packs and put them together for 6 cells. so you and i both know the packs aren't very good.

I haven't ran 6 cell on a flat track and would like to see why racers are still running 6 cell stock and not 4 cell stock or 19 turn.

so I'm inviting anyone who runs 6 cell stock to come out and show me why it's so fun and hopefully some good clean racing

A good 6 cell car would be on the same pace as a 19T at the Fort, just use a-lot more tires. I would think the leader of the red rag nation Brent Lane could pop off a 67 or 68 with a 6cell if he ever got serious. On a bigger track there would be more separation in favor of the 19T cars being faster. :thumbsup:

I think 6 cell could go mmmmmmmmmm.........about 66, 67 laps.I do have an awesome 6 cell car but I will leave it at home. You guy's run 65 laps and I will dust it off.I think 4 cell 62 maybe and I mean it would have to be a perfect run with no mistakes so you noooooo.. That is a good rule of thumb here also, I get a kick out of some that try to run big or powerfull engines or even a mod electro that is too much for em to handle out here... sooner or latter the JY wars parts will get to a decent pile.
Hay Kriss had a guy here today running foams again and still working!! Pink on the F and purple on the R mounted to a nitro sprint car.
I just wonder if its somthing to do with the temp out there... its was the 2nd day he made em work.
I rem several guys that tryed hard to get foams to hook up out there and had NO LUCK at ALL.

Dave, that is cool.....who was it??? How much of a difference in lap times compared to caps???? When I get my gas sprinter done I will try foamies, but I think to be fast.....like a gas car should be we should run caps out there.......or rubber tires like we use here at the fort on the carpet. They come up to temperature and stick really well.........

Dave, eventhough you techniclly have a concrete short track.....guys don't let it fool yas.....his tracks is fast like Darlington.......and the formula "good driver+good setup+patience=Mo laps baby!!!" applies to Lagrange...........


Compared to earlier last year Dave, the track is smooth and fast.......maybe that is why foamies are gonna work????? or because the sprinter is a heavier car and the added weight make the foam tire wheel flex and the contact patch stays consistyent?????? Keep up the good wrok bud.....maybe I will come up there and get Kevin Stahl to go too. We both think we can get a 4cell mod or even a 6 cell mod car with caps to fly around your track!!! If we do...it will bring the guys away from their benches!!!!!!!

We had a BRP play race today out there and with foams... just charged the batt's and keep the same setup as I ran on Summit and it was just fine out there... sooooo it cant be the weight.. I think its temp, but ??? latter will tell.
I didnt get a time on B Deel when he ran the sprinter, but it looked pretty good.
Im planning to rent a concrete shaver again and see if I can get the track even better.
Yep in nascar they get the Darlington wall kiss/stripe.. I guess this place is really pretty much like that... never thought about it untill now.

top 3 cars that qualified where LEADING EDGE'S new chassis called the EDGE.
no it's not a complete car, but if your car has everytning you want on it (hop up's) then you can take the EDGE and change over your L4 to the EDGE chassis.
E-mail Dave and he can have you a chassis in no time.

I have a pro2 with a 700 slider chassis and a bunch of extra parts. Let me know.

KRIS it is not the car. u need to listen when people talk to u. a l4 is a very competitive chasis. switching cars won't make u fast. i'm still trying to figure out my ksg. just work on the car......if adx was still in buisiness i'd be running adx.

Yes, the first 3 cars were Edge cars.......but what (who's) motors did they run. Still gotta have the juice to make the car go fast.
