Would like to come again some time soon. It was a good expierence for my first time. Later Rob Feeser bluelineracer 03-01-2004, 09:31 AM probably one of the most enjoyable places you'll ever race. a certain amount of "pit talk" keeps it light and fun. i think most eveyone was laughing all night...thanks to mark for all the help getting "the cane" ready to race. we'll get there paul....just need to fine tune. see everyone on the 13th... S Brown 03-01-2004, 10:13 AM Wow anybody get the number of that bearded freight train. The E-show was in full effect until the mangler moved in for the kill. Nice run by Mr. Kemp(hack...LOL) on your track record and win. Now you know wow the little cars are more fun. Zubie I’m glad you had the pleasure of seeing me again and that I could teach you some new terms such as mangler math. I’ll get a copy of the Wizard and get back to you..LOL Thanks Summit crew for the great race facility, c-ya in 2 weeeks. Mark Recio 03-01-2004, 11:21 AM Well, from what I hear, I guess I just needed to give Eli a bit more motor so he could have avoided the mangle! :freak: I had a blast this weekend, we have a new force to be reckoned with in 'de one-twelf' class, Mr. NC was all about it. Glad it went to another KSG/BSR/Pole Position car! As for Mr. Keyboard Karma, well... :hat: Zubak was also a knock out with his new KO... Oh well, I'm off to order more t-plates, cross braces, assorted graphite parts... blueracer55 03-01-2004, 12:48 PM how does one inherit the name mangler? BJZJUICE 03-01-2004, 01:02 PM LOL!!! Mark,,,,Good One!! lol millerman 03-01-2004, 06:47 PM had a great time at summit raceway awesome track ..... great people to race with and i'll be back for some more 4-cell stock action soon ...... jason crist 03-01-2004, 07:20 PM Millerman good run and win in 4 cell stock the EDGE looked real good ya KSG did do well but when everyone in the place runs a KSG the odds are good. Also congrats to Brent Lane for 2nd in 19 turn A main. Congrats to ELI on your records and to that guy Dusty Kemp who set another track record later jason Krisfo 03-01-2004, 08:57 PM It is good to hear that everyone has fun!!!! I enjoy running da show......however I'm gettin the racing bug again....... we will see how my new setup and gear works in 4cell stock.......changed everything..tires...shocks...springs.....bodies... ..wing..... Might even change the color of the car........ who knows???? millerman 03-02-2004, 11:49 PM jason........ thanks the edge car is awesome and it will give those KSG's a run for there money still fine tuning mine. maybe i'll come back and try for dusty's 4-cell stk record soon ........ later millerman blueracer55 03-03-2004, 08:53 AM dusty, fouund what was binding in the front. maybe next race i'll keep in miller mans fender. also got my 12th scale. man this car needs alot of work. i can't see how this car ever set a trsck record? this car has to be one of the biggest pieces of !%$^ i've ever seen. S Brown 03-03-2004, 10:17 AM Paul what kit are you talking about, and what's the problem? bluelineracer 03-03-2004, 10:43 AM paul....there isn't a guide pin or pick up shoes on this one is there? when are you gonna race again? dk Mark Recio 03-03-2004, 11:21 AM Did you learn nothing from your KK brethren this weekend? jason crist 03-03-2004, 12:40 PM Millerman we'll have to have a ksg vs. Leading Edge match (4 cell stock ) run for the record. we can get you and Jamie Handson and all the LE boys together and same for the ksg homies. Paul the record must have been years back from what ya say the car looks like. later jason blueracer55 03-03-2004, 12:50 PM There is no doubt in my mind. half the car is trinity. the other half is home made. it's gonna take a miracle to make this thong worth a hoot. the chasis was never sanded, and ca'd. the front end was broke. i had to make a brace. the hubs look like a 3 year old driiled 'em. the batteries won't sit in the far rear of the chasis. this car had to of run against 2 novice drivers to get the record. the bad thing is i helped the guy out last week? i won't do jack for him now. he totally lied on the desciption...... probably be back next week. think i'm gonna do the dirt thing this week. paul blueracer55 03-03-2004, 12:55 PM oh yeah i also forgot. i think it's the same dude that was whining about 6-cell? hydroracer 03-03-2004, 01:17 PM That car was described and there were pictures of the car. as far as the drilling of the hubs, i know that it was done by the previous owner, whom is very reputable and very fast in our area. That car dominated the 1/12th scale class at Plymouth up until they quit running them. I know that I had problems keeping up with it with my associated car. blueracer55 03-03-2004, 01:22 PM well there was no mention of the car being broke. there was no mention of half the car being home made. i would like to get my money back. again i am not pleased with this car. and i haven't left any feed back yet. please do what's right. and if you look at the picks they are not that good. i still have all the pics, and discription of the car. if any one thinks i'm lying i'll e-mail it to you when i get home.... hydroracer 03-03-2004, 01:28 PM you'll have to take that up with the guy that sold you the car. email him about a refund. I'm just voicing my opinion on what I saw of the car when I was racing against it. Bushwacker 03-03-2004, 01:43 PM Paul, when I meet you last week I told you all about the car. You seemed excited about getting it with the plates that were made and all. If the pictures were not good enough you could of emailed for more and better ones. If you are not happy send it back and I will gladly refund your purchase price. I will not refund the shipping cost. I stand behind anything I sell.Sorry it was not what you thought it was. As for the help you were giving at the track......Well........lets just say.....never mind Ill be nice. Email me and we can work out the details of the return blair1017 03-03-2004, 02:03 PM bushwacker, i am not very impressed with the car, i think you should have told us (paul and me) that the front was broke... jasmine Mark Recio 03-03-2004, 02:40 PM ...wonder if I should claim Plymouth anymore... EMK68 03-03-2004, 02:46 PM Mark you haven't got a choice do you?????????lol  Mark Recio 03-03-2004, 02:55 PM  ...no, not really :freak: blueracer55 03-03-2004, 03:03 PM as far as the help, u can't guide the blind. also u were 5 laps off pace before the help. i'll stop my actions will speak louder than words. look at qulifying, and finish. that's the 2nd time i was there. we can compare the size of our wrist watches all day. but it won't go anywhere. so as far as my mouth i will apologize. but i still don't want the car. thanks for the reply. :D   blair1017 03-03-2004, 03:14 PM bushwacker, i have sent you an email, i really hope that you response... jasmine hydroracer 03-03-2004, 03:15 PM you are right, I was 5 laps off the pace, not bushwacker. he was only trying to help me out. I did appreciate the comparison of our setups and you telling me what was wrong with mine. unfortunately, your setup didn't work for me, so therefore it really wasn't much help. but it was nice of you to offer your opinion/advise. hell, over the course of the night, I gained five laps but it was with another setup (thanks to bushwacker). I thought that I did alright for the first time there and the first time I've raced 4-cell pancar. thanks again for the advice. as far as bushwacker is concerned, I know that he'll make it right. Plymouth folk are stand-up guys! blair1017 03-03-2004, 03:16 PM i really hope so..... Mark Recio 03-03-2004, 03:16 PM 4udk... Monti007 03-03-2004, 04:58 PM Mark, why did you post a pic of Zuback? -Monti- Mark Recio 03-03-2004, 05:03 PM Fur Fun... Xpressman 03-03-2004, 05:14 PM Mr. Mangler (aka 10 t-plate Monti), Please send me an e-mail at bjanth72@hotmail.com. I have a question for you. Brian blueracer55 03-03-2004, 05:37 PM thanks for the response mark...????? Mark Recio 03-03-2004, 05:43 PM :dude: millerman 03-03-2004, 08:44 PM jason... i think i'll be back to take you up on the offer and i'll be sure to bring the hanson kid with me and will try and take down the KSG gang there........ ovalrookie 03-03-2004, 09:01 PM i had alot of fun this weekend ....i finally got my car to run good and what happens ....you guys make it look like a turtle draging a brick ...lol ....i think my trinity car seen better days....61 laps and the car says thats it no more ...........i know everyone who is fast is driving a KSG but which one slider or solid .....which is better ???? kevin see everyone saturday that is coming to the fort .... DaveW 03-03-2004, 10:23 PM Mr Lane was not driving a KSG, Don't forget he also ran faster than the old track record with tired average battery packs. sheath 03-03-2004, 11:35 PM For those planning on racing at Summit R/C Raceway this weekend, you might want to check out the Ft. Wayne R/C Model and Hobby Show at the Coliseum Expo center before heading out to the track for the Saturday night oval. Displays, manufacturers, hobby shops, and lots of swap tables. Open at 10 AM to 4 PM. Summit will have a display there, with a fun run of monster trucks, stadium trucks, oval trucks, Mini-T's, or anyone else that want's to come out and run. blueracer55 03-04-2004, 08:30 AM kevin, most of us run the slider. it's simply another tuning aid. i think kemp is the only one with a solied ksg, and a slider ksg. bluelineracer 03-04-2004, 09:29 AM mr. whitesel..that is some....(you know :)) brent has been quick with the new edge car which is a solid plate. eli was on a ksg slider,as was monti. foister was on an 0700 slider car...i like the ksg solid...but it does require a little different setup than the slider... easy mr. crist.....don't get millerman too wound up. heck, i saw him smile AND laugh last week...don't want to see him get too serious. bob and i have been lap for lap and second for second since we first saw each other 4-5 years ago. he's probably one of the coolest guys to race with...and i'm not even scared to talk to him anymore. so dave...get rid of those "tired ol' batteries and call andre :) "dey ran good in dee one-twelvth" remember...no car wars..just fun. dk jason crist 03-04-2004, 09:29 AM oval rookie also Millerman ran Leading Edge's new car the EDGE will running 8 cars in a heat and main I think he still ran atleast 59 or even 60 laps. thats good with that many cars on the track. Everybody and there grandma have a Ksg car (and they are a good car ) so the odds of them being in the A main are good. Millerman yes i'll have to set something up maybe this season or next fall on a ksg vs. LEADING EDGE run for the record I think if we can get some good runs with both cars with some good drivers we can see a 62 in stock ????? later jason Mark Recio 03-04-2004, 11:05 AM Monti, Learn your furry woodland creatures. blueracer55 03-04-2004, 11:10 AM yes, just about everyone has a ksg. but there is a reason for it. i'm not sponsored, but i know the ksg is darn good. Monti007 03-04-2004, 11:23 AM Mark the only furry woodland creatures I want to learn about is one that is blond and about a 34c! So when are you going to get this radio? -Monti- Mark Recio 03-04-2004, 12:15 PM Dunno...you doing deliveries again? ;) S Brown 03-04-2004, 01:45 PM 30min. or Free. bluelineracer 03-04-2004, 02:06 PM we all know that "brown delivers" Mark Recio 03-04-2004, 02:33 PM And Delivers, and delivers... vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
