I'd definitely like to see your car done, Mike!
Well that's 2--->Rob's SE and Mike's Formula.

And then there's always the '80 Pace Car which PM already has the casting and similar paint scheme for.

Well, we have my friends car, which is a Gold S/E 78 Trans Am. That make's 3!
Half way to series 3.
CTWLSMIKE--Nice Formula, and good call on the wheels! LOL

Well I finally took a little initiative and scanned an OLD polaroid of my very first car and sadly, my only Firebird! She was a beautiful electric blue '78 Formula with SNOWFLAKE wheels, for those of you who are particular about wheels!

It'd be great to see PM do one of these!

That car rocks! I'd love to see it in 1/64!

A little birdie told me that we would see more Firebirds, just wasn't sure when.
I better go feed that little birdie....

Is this a Firebird?
http://www.wreckedexotics.com/newphotos/bad/bad314.jpg

It was. The B pillar tells me it was a '93-'02 F-Body. The hood shows cutouts for pop-up headlights. Since the Camaro never offered pop-ups, it has to be a Firebird.

Ideas nothing man. I sent a cd full of images of Firebirds for them. They got tons of pictures. We just have to sit and wait I guess.

With the castings they have now, series three is as close as a re-tampo!
1977/78 Bandit
1978 S/E Y88 Gold
1973 Brewster Green
1980 Turbo Pace car
1972 Cameo White
1979 Chestnut Brown
That's a pretty good mixture. Of course, Pace cars could be done. Plus I believe their are some castings we have yet to see.

Well, look at how many active Firebird fans are on HT....I can only count about 5-6.

I guess they aren't selling well, and I have no clue WHY! No other diecast company makes good castings in 1:64 like PM.

Yep, that's pretty much what I told LT1Tony, and he said he'll mention it at meetings. Gotta make room for more CLUE cars! :freak:

Also, they could do a black 98-02 WS-6 Trans Am. Or my favorite one the Hurst/Lingenfelter Trans Am:

Well, Like I mentioned earlir. Series 3 is coming, just not sure when.
Also, I wonder how many Firebirds are peg warming anywhere? I know that here in MN from Mpls. through Rochester we haven't got any.
I do know different regions sell more cars than others. I'd really like to know how well the series did. We know that V-dubs sell well, and Camaro's sell well. How bout these birds?

Chris, I mentioned this in the contest thread...
Don't these wheels remind you of Rallye wheels, I think they'd look good on the proper Firebirds. (they're the best we have to go by for right now)

Went to World of Wheels with some friends today and saw a tuner with spinners. I don't neccesarily like them, however a few SUV's I've seen look good with them. Just a fad.
http://www.thedealonwheels.com/spinner1.gif
And if that isn't bad enough you can still be "spinnin'" with your shoes on:

Yeah, Magnum 500's are close, but I think the wheels they put on the series 2 yellow 68(flyin68bird) car look pretty darn good too.
