Things are still fluid. Rob rwwcarguy 05-21-2003, 09:44 AM Is it time for this thread to end? I for one think so. However, I have refrained from closing it for fear of starting another controversy. When this thing started 6 months ago, it had an entirely different tone and was something fun to watch in anticipation of the upcoming release of the Firebirds Series. But now it has taking a somewhat negative turn in light of the notice from Jeff that the Series had be put on hold. I certainly understand the disappointment and comments posted on the thread, but the chronic criticism about this matter serves no real purpose to me. I know Jeff & Al both are in total support of this program. Unfortunately, Jeff has been the bearer of bad news to those most excited about the series. Keep in mind, it is communications just as this, although not what we wanted to hear, that is part of the "Letting Us Know" what's going on within PM headquarters. I'm confident Jeff has made sure our voice has been heard by others within PM. I suspect now, the reaction to the Hold Notification is probably part of the resistance to approve further release of information prematurely. Since I always look for the positives, I consider the fact the program is on hold and not canceled a little good news. I too would like to know more from PM about why this happened but I do understand not every business matter can be shared on this BB. Finally, please understand, I'm not challenging and member to a debate over the right or wrong of what has been posted. I appreciate Jeff's most recent comments and it does seem the controversy has calmed considerably. I trust Jeff will let us know what he can when he can. So, can we let it go and maybe start it back up when we're notified of the new release date? If so, please do not respond.
