I believe a red SD455 was run at least 1 year. I'd also prefer that at least some of the billions we're sending overseas were invested in America. Hey, I want my $35 bucks back from Honduras.... superduty455 03-06-2003, 08:17 AM ..... car17 03-06-2003, 05:57 PM wow.................. robmcin 03-07-2003, 01:51 PM Right On SD... The Cannoball car used was a 1974 SD-455 Trans Am with some really low gearing. I was lucky enough to be able to talk to the guy at the POCI convention in 2000. He said that he could get his car to cruise at 160 with no problems. The car was a really low optioned T/A for 74, most of the ones I saw were almost always fully loaded. I'm not sure if Brock Yates had anything to do with it or not, but it has been getting lots of mag time in the past few years. Chris The 74 I bought, sold to my father in law and am getting back has an AM Radio (well, its gone now), automatic and center console and that's it for options. My brother had a 74 that had the shifter on the column (auto) because the console was and option and the guy who ordered it didn't want the console, 4 speeds went on the floor anyway, but the autos went on the tree. He didn't want it so the dealer gave my brother a heck of a deal. He wishes he would have kept it. I just wish I knew if they were going to use my car for the 77 SE! http://image1ex.villagephotos.com/1477308.jpg Is it FALL 2003 yet? Rob superduty455 03-07-2003, 04:08 PM .....
