KSG dominated Sandhills this weekend.. finishing 1, 2 in 0 degree.. and laying down in 19-t also with new track records in both classes..record in L-19t 50 4 flat.. would have been a 51 but got hit by a lap car..

A boat load is no joke!! It's gonna be one unreal road trip!! Look out world! I signed up for 19t'0' and 19t mod. We have a good mix of classes were running some in masters stock, masters 19 & 19 mod, and some in full blown mod. Should be a good time!!! We got two young kids comming for the first time too. Both will be in masters stock. They are some fast kids!! Keep those Ksg's staying up front

I'm very impressed! I put a KSG kit together Friday evening, raced it Saturday at the Cheeseland Race in Green Bay, WI. TQ'd and won the A in 4-cell Stock. The kit gives you everything you need... no buying after market 'goodies' to complete the car... it's all in the kit.

Just how good is the KSG? Good enough to set on the front row in Masters Stock, "0" 19T, and Open Mod at Sandhills Saturday Night. This car will dominate all. Thanks to Ritchie, Andy, and whoever else designed this great car.

Dan
this car really likes to turn even with no rear steer i would look into your tire, spring combo,.. what kinda track do you run on banked, flat, wide turns or tight and what tires and springs are you using? LMK and i will try and help you out..@ classic hobbies i run mod there on a high bank tight track with no rear steer at all and the car realy turns.

Check your front end and make sure it isn't BINDING up.......probably the #1 cause to an ILL handling car.

i race on a tight flat oval,87 ft racing groove,it seems like the car doesn't pick up speed until half way down the straight,
the front is free, and smooth,i polished the kingpins,i believe it's in the rear steer, sence i had no problem until i changed from 0 to 1 degree,
thanks for all the help,

mightymidget thats alot of rear steer for any track. try going back to the standard slug or the smallest amount of rear steer, see if thats it.

1 degree of rear steer is way to much I never run more than 1/2 degree and only is the car is not steering .... Try going back to like a 1/4 degree and see if the car is better......

I figure i would give some props to the KSG. I was stuck on 53 4:00 (Stock-Track Record) at Classic Hobbies with my 510. Bought a KSG and on the first run went 54 4:04 then the next run a 54 4:03. This thing is wicked fast through the turns and just propels off the turns into the straights. Almost feels like the car is floating no drag or scrub at all. All this with a bent crossbrace and bound up Left Front.
With the chassis fixes 55 may even be possible.
Thanks for the great product Andy. Also thanks for taking care of the Bent Crossbrace for me. I appreciate it.

Good luck in Milwaukee.

Yeah I will be doing some racing at Classic this summer. I won't be as consistent as I was indoor but I still plan on making it out when the schedule permits. I will probably make a couple road trips with the guys from Classic. Definately want to check out Jack Connelly's track in St. Clairsville.

Brian Fairchild of Team 1 fame. Came out last night to Prostar racing in Green Bay and tore up the old record for 4-cell stock. Brian had to work his way up from the lower ranks of 4-cell due to his position in the point standing.
Brian using his KSG chassis not only managed to TQ but managed to break the Track record Perviously held by on Corey Heft in each of his Qualifiers.

At the start of the A-main it was appatent Brian was tired of playing with us. He must have dremeled out his radio for more trigger room. Because he was gone!!!

All eyes were fixed on that car as he once again spanked Mr Hefts old track record by 2 more laps. He ran a 62 4:xx.xx. I didn't to hear the time of the race because of the Congradulations and hand shaking was awe inspiring.

Congradulation to Brian from the Pro-Star guys! Will he try to top that again on the last indoor race of the winter next Wed?

Hi, everyone. I'm a new member. I've been a guest for a while and thought I'd join.

I've read this entire thread and, unless I missed it somewhere, I don't know how to go about purchasing the KSG car. I went to the aaamodels site and viewed the pictures - very nice car! Should I ask my local hobby shop to contact the manufacturer? Who distributes the kit?

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
