I drummed up some intrest already for the new indoor track, people i work with who are into rc but havent raced, but would like to give it a shot.
One great thing about JCP and the Indy crowd is how we all get along and help each other, unlike some tracks i used to race at where there were little cliques and huge egos.
BSEITZ 10-19-2011, 07:32 PM Some information on the new indoor track.
Location I70 and Emerson. Take Emerson north to Emerson Access rd, turn right, Emerson Access becomes E. 25th ST., Go Straight through the stop sign and the building will be on the right.

on the pit spot idea. can we bring some kind of metal box or something to bolt down to keep some of our stuff there?
outlander5 10-20-2011, 05:51 PM went by there today and yes it's a big building. is the parking shared with the shop next door?
CheckMyBrain 10-20-2011, 08:15 PM Can't wait.
BSEITZ 10-20-2011, 08:31 PM how did you convince the fire marshalls to allow nitro racing indoors?
Simple, They want 2 clear exits, we have 4. Fire proof insulation, and the plastic that we are hanging up to separate the pits from the track is fire proof. We will have fans setup under the overhead doors to pull the smoke and fumes out of the building, plus the building already has a nice sized exhaust fan in it, and of course fire extinguishers.
BSEITZ 10-20-2011, 08:35 PM on the pit spot idea. can we bring some kind of metal box or something to bolt down to keep some of our stuff there?
Concrete floor nothing to bolt down to really. You can bring a box with a lock on it to store some stuff.
BSEITZ 10-20-2011, 08:38 PM went by there today and yes it's a big building. is the parking shared with the shop next door?
No the body shop next door is putting in a new paint booth, that is why all that stuff is sitting out there, they dont have any of that lot.
outlander5 10-21-2011, 08:11 AM sounds like you guys have thought this through, should be a great place:thumbsup:
BSEITZ 10-21-2011, 09:24 AM We had 2 years of learning experience from hcrc!

chadtastic 10-21-2011, 11:51 PM MITCHELL TRIP!!!!!!
Heading south to mitchell around noon. Pro 2 sc, and mod buggy for me...
chadtastic 10-27-2011, 11:06 PM FT SC10 for sale!!! $250
Comes with
SXX TC Spec Speedo, and Clear FT body...
Have extra motors and tires as well for more $$$$
Equipment is used but works great. Truck is fresh of TQ and 1st place finish at the Great Pumpkin race. I had a five second lead at mitchell last week before breaking a shock bolt which I have since repaired. Just letting you know the truck is good but i have a brand new one now and this one will either collect dust or turn into a part truck...
Construction of the indoor facility is coming along nicely, the drivers stand, scoring booth, pit lane, and the divider wall are all done, now just waiting on the dirt, supposed to be delivered monday or tuesday. Some base dirt is already down for the foundation of the pit lane. The track is quite big as well, do not hesitate on checking it out, lets support JCP and the new indoor track
Little update on JCP Indoor.
We have decided to make this coming weekend an open practice session. This will allow us to work out any kinks, should there be any, and also allow ya'll to get acquainted with the facility. Practice times will be as follows,
Cost will be $5 for members or $10 for non-members per day.
10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Both days
Saturday will be Nitro and electric
Sunday will be electric only
We will also be extending the membership deadline through Sunday. This gives you an extra day if you so need it.
j21moss 11-01-2011, 02:17 PM well since it is very close to my back yard, I'll probably stop by this Sunday and check it out!!
jd8181 11-01-2011, 06:53 PM hey guys i got a few questions. a few of my friends and i are thinking about making a trip to indy sometime soon and checking out your new indoor track, but we have a few questions first. what all classes will you be running? do you have posted rules? what tires will you be running? so you have to have personal transponders or are you going to have house also? any other help would be great too. thanks
tltfab 11-01-2011, 08:37 PM The classes will be. 1/10 scale- Pro2, Pro4, Mod Buggy, Stock slash, Mod Truck.
1/8 scale- e-buggy, Nitro Truggy, Nitro Buggy.
Im sure Brian will have house transponders, they did at JCP outdoor.
jammer 11-01-2011, 09:14 PM Just curious about the surface so I can be prepared on tires....black dirt, loose dirt, or clay??
We strongly suggest personal transponders. Our house transponders are starting to die out.
A litte birdy told me there MAY be pics on FB soon, if not tonight...
BSEITZ 11-01-2011, 11:18 PM Personal transponder is required, the house transponders are dead! If you need a cheaper alternative to the my laps transponders, check out Indy Rc they have the MRT transponders. The dirt is all clay and sticky! Small pin tires for sure
jd8181 11-02-2011, 06:00 AM what about rules? do you have them posted anywhere?
BSEITZ 11-02-2011, 09:14 AM I guess you want electric rules?
Stock slash, 2s lipo limit
Pro 2sc, 2s lipo limit
Pro 4sc, 2s lipo limit
Stock 4x4 slash 2s lipo limit if we have enough
Mod buggy, 2s lipo limit
Mod truck, 2s lipo limit
teamcc 11-02-2011, 10:14 PM Can we pay the membership fee at the track this weekend?
jd8181 11-06-2011, 06:42 PM are you guys going to have practice during the week or anytime?
BSEITZ 11-06-2011, 07:13 PM If we get enough intrest we will have a week night practice. If you want it post up what day and we will see what happens
ms3 chris 11-07-2011, 06:40 AM I am planning on heading there next Sunday to race - Can anyone provide an address? Also, after the first weekend of practice, do slicks seem like they will work or ? Track looks good!

Thursdays my vote!
jd8181 11-07-2011, 04:51 PM wednesday or thursday nights for me. i have 4 or 5 guys from work around the tipton area that want to practice before they race
Michael#81 11-07-2011, 05:56 PM Thursdays my vote!
Thursday would be my vote between those 2 days. I work in Indy almost every Thursday so I would be there every week to practice.
I vote Wednesday. I have Easton on Thursday's and that makes for a late night for the little guy
outlander5 11-07-2011, 06:50 PM thursday is great
hopcam 11-07-2011, 10:53 PM I'll toss in a Wednesday vote.

jd8181 11-09-2011, 07:16 AM i just wanted to make sure no house transponders right? because i have 4 or 5 people that want to come down and race but don't want to spend $100 on a personal when they will probably only 4 or 5 times a year.
BSEITZ 11-09-2011, 09:34 AM i just wanted to make sure no house transponders right? because i have 4 or 5 people that want to come down and race but don't want to spend $100 on a personal when they will probably only 4 or 5 times a year.
I am in the process of working on getting them fixed, but as of right now we do not have any.
BSEITZ 11-09-2011, 09:35 AM Make sure you bring a table, chair, and extension cords, if you have not been to the track already.
IndyHobbies.com 11-09-2011, 10:00 AM Those transponders are the hardest $100 to spend in this hobby! Just plain Ouch.
A used transponder is always an option as well, still $70 to $80
outlander5 11-09-2011, 07:04 PM i can't believe no one else has said the new track is awesome:)
