OK,OK, I can't stand it! Here's the big one I have been working on....

Your two favorite premiere offroad tracks in the midwest will play host to.... anyone?

Northern Indiana RC Super Series or NIRCSS

That's right! Stateline Raceway and Granger Raceway have teamed up to bring you a four-race series (two each).
Many more details to come soon but here are the basics:
This is going to be a BIG DEAL! HUGE trophies, the biggest and best outdoor tracks in the state, organized well-run program, LOTS of door prizes and an end-of-year banquet to award trophies and more prizes. We will be running BOTH nitro and electric, 8th and 10th scales in all of the popular classes.

You will NOT want to miss this great series

Yes to Friday practice. There are better amenities at the KOA and I am going to try and get a special rate for racers with them.

We have lots of room and options available to us. I am working on a deal with both the KOA and at least one Hotel. The KOA is exactly one mile from us and there are several hotels about 4 miles away. Also food, fuel, convenience, grocery and hardware stores all within a mile :) and lots of shopping and entertainment within four miles

I think there is such a thing as having too many classes. We could add masters (and stock buggy and stock truck and buggy 4wd etc.) to end up having a super long program with small heats that is tough to get through.

NIRCSS is about running a smooth, not over-complicated race that everyone will enjoy.

Get 'em ready for the opener at Stateline

With the Big Tracks that is running this series.Stock would be boring For the most pepole. Alot of guys would probally thermo their motors or burn them up.150-200' straight a ways will do that.
It's gonna be fun I've been mounting tires all week.
Any body have a KYOSHO Truck the new JC Connceots Body kicks butt fights the truck real nice.

OK, late breaking news: The NIRCSS opener has been MOVED to Granger.

We have all had too much rain but Stateline has had a bunch and their clay surface will be next to impossible to drain and get dry to provide the great track and experience that we are striving to provide. Kevin and I decided that it made the most sense to move round one to Granger and round two will be at Stateline on July 2nd in combination with the Firecracker Frenzy. The balance of our schedule will remain the same.

Change your plans! I will try to get a hotel discount and camping discounts for anyone coming in.

NIRCSS Round One - Granger Raceway - May 21st, be there :thumbsup:

Well if I can race, I might or might not (I don't think it is a good thing to be unsure of what to race). First I have to see how things go this weekend, but I am guessing that 2wd trucks will have a bigger turn out then 2wd buggies.

I am, but it doesn't help that I work at 3:30am EST (wake up at 2:00am). I was just out of it yesterday.

Anyways for the NICSS race, I won't be able to make it out there to race due to my radio system going out. I was really planning on making this race, but I had a unforeseen issue pop up today. So yeah that takes care of my plans.

I don't really want to have to use someone's radio for a 2nd week in a row. So sadly no racing for me next weekend. :(

But on a positive note, I was wanting to get new electronic equipment, and now I have a reason to get some new gear.

For everyone coming in tomorrow for round three of the NIRCSS the physical address for Granger Raceway is 51465 Bittersweet Rd. Granger, IN 46530. If you are using a GPS you will need to come a couple blocks farther south than it will tell you. The raceway is behind my primary business (The Car Place). Follow the driveway around the South end of the front building and you will find us. Please use the driveway. Even though it's just field grass I am trying to keep it decent.
Be safe travelling and we'll see you trackside in the AM
