I'm in for some 2wd Mod Truck and some 2wd mod.
The Boss let me off.

Well racers, my staff and friends will all tell you that I am the LAST guy to surrender and wave the white flag but mother nature is being relentless. We made great progress yesterday and with a few hours of dry weather would have a most-awesome track ready for our opener. Unfortunately the rain that we have gotten (and are still getting) is just going to make it impossible to have a raceable track (let alone the GREAT track that we want to provide).

So, we will be postponing our grand opening until Saturday April 30th

The track and facility will be much better for the opener. Maybe a few more racers will be able to come next weekend missing Easter :thumbsup:

Put NEXT Saturday on your schedules and we'll see you trackside :thumbsup:

All I know is everyone will really love the layout. Really it will be really, really sweet, so be sure to make it out. :D

I know that with the postponing of Opening Day it was tramatic to all. We really needed to get our fix of racing outdoors again. But I believe it was for the better.

Now, with this day looming again, just 48 hrs away, we go through these emotions all over again. Of course, mine is a total different experience than this rest of you. I for one can't wait for the feeling of pulling the trottle at the start of the first quailifer and seeing the rooster tail of my SC10 screaming down the straight into the big berm, hitting the first double, landing wrong and cartwheeling up the monster stair step. Getting marshalled and doing it all over again. Wow that is exciting!!

Where else can you screw up and have a blast doing it!!

Whats everyone likein on 2wd sc10 mod for tires? Ihave one thats two years old and hasn't been raced yet.
And I'm positive were racing sat but if thiers a vary small chance we don't are Yuo gonna do it on sunday?

Hey Jeff, I was running super-soft Calibers on the rear and Bow-ties on the front of my SC10 with the 8.5 Tekin and an RS speedo. I liked the way it worked overall and it had enough forward bite to wheelie at will.

We will be racing Saturday. If we don't, then the automatic rain day is Sunday (although it looks like Saturday will be the much better day this weekend).

Calibers on rear when its not wet. AKA Enduro F&R worked for me under just about any conditions last year. Subcultures pretty good on front,never really tried them on rear. Stock tires ok on front also if u don't mind some front push. Hope this helps a little at least.:thumbsup:

I just wish I could race this weekend (college had to get in the way... :( lol).

Also it sounds like Mike has a plan to really make things fun come sat (and the layout so far is just incredible). Tomorrow is looking like a nice day, and Sat should be really nice as well. So it is time to get your racing fix on (except for me as I have a final to take in the afternoon).


Just be sure that you save room for some extra smiles as you will have a ton of them by time the day is over!

For the tire info. Got them on order with some wheels. I'll have them for next week along with somw 1/8 gas stuff.

Ok I just came from the Track at 6;00 .There was No satanding water just some Big ass dirt mounds . Will be racin sat for shure. Get ready for some kickass traction. LTPD.

Glad you and Elliot had fun!

History was made yesterday. Built the track, and raced all in 24hr period. Has to be some kind of record. Turnout was great, racing was great, show was great, ... well you get the picture. Ready to do it all over again. Nice to see people you haven't seen since last fall.

2011 season is off to a ... great ... start.:dude:
