Checked out the Outback today and the rolled surface is touring car smooth. Ben walked the track for a video. Sam and I stood by, to marshall him, when he hit the launcher jump in front of the drivers stand...:rolleyes:

good luck to everyone at the Mugen Challenge! I wish i could make it out with my new Mugen, but work has me stuck

Just got off the phone with ryan goff of arcs and he told me that some of his racers wanted to goto arcs opener sat and race the Mugen challenge Sunday. So here is what I came up with for those guys or anyone that cant make the whole weekend. Half price for the event so 22.50 (signup for the race at the track was $45) and that gets you put into the lowest mains of your class and entitles you to a give away ticket for each class that you enter. I hope that sounds fair and will get us some more entries for a great cause the Lions Club: remember this is a benefit race with half of the entry money going to the Lions:wave::wave:

On a side note we got pounded with rain last night and i mean pounded i think that is was the hardest rain we have had all year, it just came down in sheets. I woke up this morning to see how the new layout took it. A few puddles and i got out the blower in 20 minutes i had the track pretty much ready to run. Wow does that track take alot of water. Nothing is going to stop the challenge not even mother nature:thumbsup::thumbsup: (but if your highness of nature wants to give us some sun we would be forever in your debt):tongue::tongue:

Can't wait til Friday!!! Who's gonna give Barry a run for his money this weekend? That guy is faaaaaaaaast:thumbsup:

Chims track can handle plenty of rain.. Been there when it rained like two inches in a hour. With a little work we where running again in a short amount of time.:thumbsup:

8am it opens. Hope the weather is better. The track is still ok but no one could run on it today it rained all day. I will keep you guys posted on what we are going to do. May have to condense the program a little

Ok guys here's the deal. I have a bunch of guys here from out of town staying in hotels that came along way to race. We got a ton of rain today and no one could practice. It is not raining here right now and I just walked the track and it is still hard and not coming up on my boots. So we are going to try to get something in tomorrow and hope Sunday is good. The forecast is not promising but this Ohio and the weather changes by the hour. If we can't get it in we will run the race next weekend, but are going to try and get it in this weekend. Stay tuned for updates I will give you guys info as soon as we make decisions.

Ohio weather this time of year sucks! Hopefully most of the racers that made the trip out to the track this weekend can return next weekend. I will also need to borrow a starter box and glow driver. I would really like to hook up with some one running a Losi so I can bum their box and glow driver.

I should be good as long as I can bum a starter box and Jim M has that covered.
