View Full Version : K & B III "The Outback" new track in northeast OHIO 2011 season
bennyboy 08-30-2011, 09:18 PM Thank you for the kind words. We are trying hard all the time to give you guys a great place to race. I am always looking to improve, if you guys have suggestions give me a shout and i will see what i can do:thumbsup::thumbsup:
The bridge is sagging in spots. Ben's truggy wing was hitting as he went under Saturday, when we were out running.

blackdragon 08-31-2011, 12:26 AM Yup it was a great day, funny thing was that all the times i did the hare scrambles when i was young which was about 15-20 of them i never placed, 20+yrs later with no practice and a new quad that i am not totally used to yet I placed go figure LOL.
I was LMAO when i thought that i only had to run for a hour the whole time i was getting ready for this thing, and right before the start the guy told the field that we were running for 1.5 hours plus one lap, my heart dropped, I thought that i was going to have a heart attack out there, but it went way better than i thought it would, WHERES THE NEXT ONE I AM IN lol:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Was that you on the slowzuki? Nice quad, same one my wife has  I wouldn't mind running that race just to hit that huge step up jump a few more times  Bula's scramble was always one of the most fun anywhere...I have quite a few dust collectors from that race  It sucked when they did away with it for awhile...I think I looked more forward to running the xc bike there than I did the TT bike, even though the xc race didn't count for anything
Now stop it with the Quad vids before I get any stupid ideas
chim13 08-31-2011, 07:49 AM i will have the bridge in order for thursday practice:thumbsup:
chim13 09-01-2011, 11:23 AM practice will start at five tonight so that i can make sure the water is all gone. see you guys there
Chim, We talked to a bunch of guys at the Ohio series finals yesterday that expressed intrest in the challenge. Jim Couch (Mugen) and Dave Taylor will both be coming for sure.

chim13 09-13-2011, 12:56 PM OK guys just wanted to let you know that i am extending the sign up for the mugen challenge to this friday, that is the last day that i can order the t-shirts and have them here for the race. So if you are signed up on www.rcsignup.com and want a free shirt and to save the $5 per class get those entries buttoned up on there(must be a paid entry to get the free stuff and the discount). You can still sign up for the race at my race this sunday which is the last day for sure if you want the free shirt and the pre-entry discount that is the last time before the race its self. This is shaping up nicely, cant wait to see all you guys, this is going to be tons of fun:thumbsup:

maddog9 09-13-2011, 02:23 PM round ones

i would go with something with a smaller pin, like gridirons, double dees, megabites, etc. also i would recommend m3 or soft compounds(btw m4 is super soft, not m3) Super softs will wear a lot, track is pretty hard

track is open at 8:00:thumbsup:
bennyboy 09-18-2011, 06:03 PM Thanks K & B for another great day of racing. The track was being tore up as we left, in prepreation for the Mugen Challenge. That track can take a pounding from all the rain we have had in the past weeks and was still in great shape.
Thanks GDux sr. for the tuning lesson. Greatly appreciated. Seemed like eveyone today had mechanical issues at some point in time. Thanks Rick D for the support.
Everyone Best hope Marsh doesn't end up with an E scale. The guy seems to be on cruise control. Protchko, let Marsh wheel it for the Mugen race, just to keep Pettit honest......
Tim
chim13 09-19-2011, 08:27 AM great day of racing, thank you everyone for coming out, great weather laid back day of racing. See you all at the Mugen Challenge
No problem Tim, Ironic though I help you with Ben's car and then we have issues in the main with Gary's, handing Ben an easy win. His pressure line popped off somehow and got tangled in the flywheel. We've been fighting that engine since Medina. We finally got it close and something stupid happens. Oh well thats racing and it was great racing with you guys again. See you in a couple weeks for the Mugen Challenge.
