donhoejr 07-10-2011, 07:01 PM hey guys, I took about 75 pics at the track today. you can see them at http://www.flickr.com/photos/donhoepics/. there are also pics from arcs last weekend. If anyone wants any I can e-mail you a copy.had a great time today even thoughtruck broke and jr was stuck in the 4wd corr class. It happens...We'll be back in august...thanks for a good time today.:wave:
bennyboy 07-10-2011, 07:40 PM Great time today and yes it was hot. I was really hoping for "The Web" to show, so he would TQ and win, so I could jump in the pond. Now the RD, Great job Steve, tried to get me to jump because Lou weber did something like tq, or win something, I am not sure what, but I told them pond canon balling was reserved for The Web not his bro. Now Lou spent most the day wrenching but he was impressive to say the least
Winners today for Corr prizes, besides everyone who showed:
Logan Naples, Flip's son, "Last place qualifier in the A Main". Great job Logan.
Lou Weber, "Long Jump"
Ian Cameron, "Fast lap"
Eric Chambers, Best 5 Minute Consistency". All laps within 5 seconds of each other. Fastest 43.9. Slowest 48.3
Chim. Pulled a back flip off the superman jump. If unable to pull it off, money was to go to TQ in 4 x 4 Corr. Landed a perfect 10
Kathy again sang the national anthem which was great! The older I get the more I appreciate all those who served, so i can go watch my son run R/C racing, and most of all say whatever I want about my pal Web, when I want too. looks like Lou will have to take the heat from now on. The American flag needs to be recognized and Kathy does the anthem justice...:thumbsup:
Unable to check out the food, Clutch out, clutch in. too lean, too rich Still a great day.
Chim even weed wacked around the pond, but no pond canon balling today:p

bennyboy 07-11-2011, 08:56 AM Lou,
When I said, "The Web" I am, and was, talking sbout the Steve Weber. To earn, "THE", in front of your name, with no reference to the persons actual first name, comes from years of participating at the highest level of racing. The,"THE", can not be used lightly. EX. The Web, The Denton, The Chicky, The Nam, The Stoffer, The Chim, The Dietz, The Goff, The Lightcap, The little Neer girl, The Prochko, The Kridler, The Michael, The Duxberry, the Barrett, The Neer, The Marsh, The Imbrigotta, The Naples and Son, The Minadeo, The Lenardson, The Cameron, The Cbro, The Abbot, The Shortbus, and many more and I am sorry if I have left out anyone worthy of the "THE", in front of their last name....:)
So when I use the ,"THE", I never intended to include any other person, besides Steve, who may carry the Weber namesake....:rolleyes:
Now with that said, your display of running 3 classes when there was only 6 and your mechanical apptitude in the pits with the wrench, earns you the letter "T" of the, "THE".....:cool: Now to earn the "H" and the,"E" of,"THE, will take some incredible miracles and displaying feats of utter magnitude beyond comprehension....:wave:
The Moisio
chim13 07-11-2011, 09:17 AM Hey Tim can i be at least (TH Chim) i have some big shoes to full but i have been working hard LOL In my eyes i will never earn the (E) cause that is one Man in my eyes that stands above the rest very big shoes. Hey tim you should use that for your own screen name (THE MOISIO) thats sweet.

xxxJayxxx 07-11-2011, 07:19 PM I hope to make it out to secure last in 4x4 corr and Escale next time. Hows the Escale turnout been? What are a couple tire choices that work well? I just finished getting an Eco together so I hope to make the next race.
chim13 07-11-2011, 08:23 PM escale has been good always a full class of them
tires and this in imo snipers, enduros, city blocks and impacts.
chim13 07-11-2011, 08:48 PM Ok guys here are the new layouts to vote on for the race on the 21st of Aug.:thumbsup:
Also i have something else for you guys to vote on too he he.
For the race on the 21st you will have you guys have two opitions on how the race format can be ran.
1. Normal race day like the ones that we have been having
2. K & B Shootout, heres how it works each class that has 5 or more entries will run a bracket head to head tournament(double elimination). You will come and practice like a normal race day, and then after practice and the sign up for the event are over, each driver will take 3 laps around the track on the clock for each of the classes they are running. Your fastest lap in each class will be used to set up the tourney bracket seeding. Example if you have the fastest lap of that class you will be the #1 seed for that class if you have the second fastest lap for that class you will be the #2 seed and so on. The bracket will be set up just like the NCAA 1 seeds against the lower seeds to start round one of the tourney. Then when you are called up to race you will go head to head, mono e mono for a 3 lap shootout, first one to complete 3 laps moves on and the loser goes to the losers bracket. You have to lose twice to be out of the tourney. In the end the winner from the winners bracket will face the winner from the losers bracket. If the losers bracket driver wants to win it all he will have to defeat the winners bracket driver twice. (In the old days of the K & B the losers bracket driver always won the whole thing go figure). For the win you guys get more that respect you will have a chance to earn some cold hard cash. The top 5 finishers will get a percentage of the entry money Cost for this race is $20 per class, $10 to the track and $10 towards the POT. After the tourney is over we will have a small race atleast one Qual and the mains hopefully two if there is time, the small race is included in your entry fee.:dude::dude::dude:
Winner= 40% of the pot
2nd= 30% of the pot
3rd= 20% of the pot
4th= 10% of the pot
5th= entry back(donated by the track)
Sorry about the layout pics was not at work to scan these i hope that you guys can see them if not let me know and i will scan them tomarrow
