Fellow Racers,
We are excited to announce on behalf of Big Dog (Keith Caudill) the 2011 Ohio Pro Series. With an exciting lineup of tracks and the finals being at The Ohio RC Factory, this years State Pro Series will be a series you will not want to miss. Signups will be done primarily on www.rcsignup.com and are limited to 100 due to this being a one day race on Satruday and practice on Friday.

If you have any questions, please post them hear, so that I can forward them on to Big Dog for you, or feel free to call him or email him directly. Please only post accurate information here for the benefit everyone.

I am not answering your question directly, but recommend contacting Keith Caudill for an exact answer. One of the challenges of a series race is to keep the amount of different classes to a minimum to allow for the race to be ran in a single day. Also all of the tracks must run the exact class lineup. Here are the classes that I know for sure will be ran.

2wd sct
Mod electric
Stock electric
4wd sct
Sportsman buggy
Pro buggy
Sportsman Arena
Pro Arena

I just checked www.rcsignup.com and I dont see the events entered yet. I understand your interest, since their is only 100 entries they will most likely fill very quickly. I will text Keith and find out when he is going to post it on rcsignup.com It will be listed under Events by State "Ohio"

Agree, The classes are listed on the flyer posted above. The classes were set by the series director, That is why he gets paid the big bucks! J/K

Flyer says 20hrs of practice on Friday. Sweet.

Shane, some of us need that much practice, good eye. Practice is Friday 12pm to 8pm.

Will there be a track change before the Ohio Pro series race on June 11th ? , so the out of town racers will have an even playing field.

There is a track change planned, before the Ohio Pro Series. The weather forecast this week does not look good for track building, but we will be doing everything necessary to complete the track change.

Is the Pro sears full??? I have tried to regester for sport e 8 and 4x4 corr but the form wont let me finish it??

Best way to track ? Heading west on 70 from Columbus, would it be better to take rt 29 west or continue on 70 and then take rt 68 north to Urbana.

Are the E8's running with the nitros? If so, the longer mains could be interesting.

Weather is not looking good at all. How well does this track handle water, and what is the plan for a rainout?

Bummer we did not get to race but I have to say the track was awesome! I'll be back next time:thumbsup:

Even bigger bummer so many people drove from so far away only for the race to be called off when they knew the night before, let alone bright and early saturday morning, that the track was nearly submerged. A little communication would have been great. Total redlining of the BS-O-Meter right there :freak:

I think many people didn't show because of the weather thurs. and fri. Not to mention the rain the track got early saturday before the sun came up.
It probably would have ment marshalling and pittman duties at the same time, which would have really sucked.

I know there is a contact# on the front page of the website, I live just at an hour away and shoulda called, but I didn't. So I had a nice drive in the country.

It is what it is, and someone has to make the call, whether it is the popular one or not.

However, I can't wait to get back to the track and run the snot outta my buggy.

Every race but the Ohio Pro Series and the Ironman, we will have 1/5 Scale. Those two races are cooperative races with other tracks, Series races, and they do not run 1/5 scale at their track.

Yes the Pro Series is somewhat limited to what they call Racing classes. Unfornately they do miss the boat when it comes to Monster Truck, Baja, and possibly other classes. Where better for a Monster Truck or Baja driver to be exposed to 1/8 scale buggy or Short Course competition than at a Pro Series race.

I talked to mader and he said they are making some revisions to the current layout.There is going to be a great turnout,on a killer layout.Make sure you bring your tiger putter. :):thumbsup:

I had a really good time running there saturday :thumbsup: Fantastic track, epic driverstand, lucked out on the rain......pretty much a perfect day of racing:thumbsup:

Rob, you had that AE 4x4 running pretty good! I had some type of electrical issue at the end...the last 2.5 laps I could barely get my truck around the track :freak: Throttle would cut out...steering would quit responding then turn at random... One more lap and you prolly would have had me!!!!

Awesome track! Looking forward to coming back soon!!
