Well I just finished putting my Extreme together, This car is bad Butt, Has more adjustments then any car that I have ever seen. I hope my ADX is this cool. Well Greg, You know how much I like the hyperdrive stuff but don't dog on the ADX because you will feel bad when I am going around you or through you at the birds. LOL

I'm not planning to race @ tuffy's this weekend as I'm trying to get parts for the "Former Katfish Edition" KGB 2K2 together for that track! It is a waaay different setup than a flat track! It is a track that needs a separate car for if you don't want to keep changing your setups back & forth every week on one car! I'll get w/ you about the motors this weekend!

Hey Ya'll,..........they were fixing the lights at Hobby World!! Big Greg and David were working on them,George was the official liner-upper! It looked a whole lot better when I left,and they were still working on them when I pulled away. Can't wait to race at night now! I'll be out there in a couple of weeks,depending on schedule. I bought a Legends car,it's already built,......got to get the radio gear,and a charger.Hope to see everyone soon!:thumbsup:

So,......where was you sunday? I went to Tuffy's,.....great place! You have a spec car,and they are running those thunder trucks,basically what you have now,except for a truck body,and the spec 4-cell pack,after I get my Legends running,that's the next class for me,......sort of a dual purpose chassis. Where was I ??? I was busy cleaning out the garage! :cry: But I've made up some ground getting my second KGB car (former Katfish ride) built for next Sunday! I'll be out there soon! Also,can't wait for this Friday to check out the lighting improvements @ HW! I think people will see a noticeable difference,don't ya think??? :eek: John Pilgrim & I will be out there Thursday to check it out & practice.

cool!......don't think that I'll have the car ready yet,but I'll get out there just the same.Bob said that he might have a radio lying around the house,a boat radio,but this will work fine for Legends,this will get me alot closer,......and if he has that radio,I might be able to race this weekend! George try setup sheet I sent you! I completely rebuilt HD Bt510 st found problems it should be quick I'll have gear ratio tonight.:D

Chuck has some street spec stuff he wants to get rid of, also some radios, receivers, and speed controls. If you are interested LMK, I will stop by HW Friday night and can bring items of interest with me.
Radios are futaba sport and/or junior. Speed controls are novak explorer II, t-4 and LRP runner.

Thanks for the info! I'm not too crazy about that particular proggy,but I've managed to extract the needed #'s from it. This should get me close. I've got more questions,but I'll have to ask you this Friday. Now you know why I took so long to build the second KGB 2K2! Are you going out there this Sunday? LMK!

George I'm still laughing about last night. Who would have thought a '96 silverado truck could give the monte carlo HD boys a run for the money. That's the tightest spec racin' I've been involved with. I missed TQing by .6 sec. and 1st in the main by even a slimmer margin! Props to shawn, his steady driving gave him a well earned victory! Also not to be forgotten jason and greg for running good clean race. This point series in spec has been awsome and has really helped my driving even though it didn't look like it in 4-cell mod race! But I assure you I will be in the hunt in 4-cell next series! I will be at tuffy's on sunday. We get 3 days a racin' in jax next weekend I'm Stoked and will hopefully be ready!

HEY! .... are any of you guys ..... greg, george , dan or anyone else from the jax neck of woods coming to minnreg next weekend for the Snowbirds warm-up race ?? ..... indoor carpet oval, run by mike boylan (promoter of the snowbirds) ..... and hosted by the minnreg rc club.

If you guys would travel out of jax only one time this year, besides the snowbirds this would be a great race to attend. Its a one day show on saturday ...... the doors do open on friday for practice but the actual racing will be on saturday

Thank you! I came across a good deal,on some radio stuff last night,and after I cleared it with my sponsor( my wife) now,all I need is a charger. Why is Chuck selling out? He was getting better! And he was always a good guy to race with! You really,..........REALLY need to come and check the sunday track out,if you can.

Yeah man! If you haven't noticed,....I've not missed a meal in a long time,......:D potted meat,vienna sausages,and spam,....gotta' love it! Actually,.....5 paydays this month,.....going to fill the race box up some more. Already having withdrawals for another class to run. Won't be like metro though,he sat with a lap full of broken cars,and repairs all day,looked somewhat frazzled by days end,bless his heart! But he was still grinning when we left,so I guess he had a good time none the less.:hat: Told my boss that I would chill sunday,so he knows that I'm previously occupied for the weekend.:thumbsup:

Wrenching 3 cars, 2 driven by newbies deffinately too much! I brake stuff without help!LOL But the worst day racing still beats best day at work! Especially racing with a great group of guys on a class a facility, what more could I want except to win!LOL

Hi guys. Good job last Friday Greg/metrodog. You had me pretty nervous. Especially when Jay started cheering for you during those final laps. I needed a 102 that night, and I need a 102 tomorrow in order to tie Jay in this points race. If, and that is a big if. And even though I've won more A-mains than jay, he has made TQ once or twice more than I have. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. I believe Jay gets the big plaque if we are tied. It will be a moot point if I don't repeat last friday performance. I got the checkered flag by a huge 10 foot lead last week. Hopefully it will be as fun a race. What a blast that was. Jay went under me and tried to take the lead with just four laps left. And BAM, he flips over me coming out of turn 4. AFter spinning around a couple times I was facing the infield. And there it was, out of the corner of my eye, a yellow pickup comes flying around turns 3+4 carrying with it a brand new battery. ;) Awesome race.

I hope that Street Spec gets more drivers for the next point series. How many weeks inbetween series?
