You'll have to ask John about that this Friday!! Kinda wished we raced last night (Saturday). It was actually kinda cool outside compared to the freezing we had on Friday night!

I'm down 2 points in the series to Jay, even though I've won 5 out of the last 6 A-mains.

I am not racing this Friday, I'm hoping that this friday coming up isn't the last race in the series... Dooooooooh! I guess there is always next series. If you see Jay there racing for points without me, please dog him about.

Good racing this past Friday night.

Shawn

I'll do one better I'll beat him so I'm still in the running for a plaque! LOL

Bring your car friday and race registration starts between 7-7:30pm and racing starts at 8pm. Most people show up and start practicing between 3-6pm though.

Sometimes if you come up behind him real fast & match his moves "note-for-note",he'll get scared and push up into the turns (taking wind off of his back!) or make a mistake. Just be patient & be ready to dive underneath him when he does! Talking crazy stuff to him in between races usually gets him fired up & scared, too! hehe!

Gee,you think I've got him figured out yet????

If this coming friday is only the 5th week, then there is still plenty of time to catch Jay. I'm thinking about buying a bluk order of 1600 Spec packs. I will hopefully get them for around 17 bucks a pop. If anyone is interested let me know so I can get enough. You can email me at smleary@yahoo.com
I will get a few extra anyway, so you will see them at HW with me. Not that I would go there and sell anything on the premises. That would be against HW rules of engagement. ;)

HI guys! I been in most of the major towns in Florida this week past, alot of miles,.......and alot of thinking. Christmas time gives alot of things, one of the best things is reflecting on the people and friends that you have met along the way. Being in and out of the R/C thing for about 18 years now,I have to say that the people I have met in R/C are amoung the best I have ever known.Sitting in traffic in Miami, with no one letting me in,I knew that there were a few on the track that might let me by if I was faster.I was broke down in Ponte Vedra of all places yesterday, and though no one stopped to offer assistance,if I was broke at the track, someone would ask as to why,and offer a part if needed, and that's the true meaning of Christmas. Humanity! It's hard to find it sometimes, and when you do,it's good to appreciate it! It's good to be so awesome at your job, that they let you play on the weekends, like Joe Malin,it's good to have more R/C stuff than you can carry in one trip from the car, like several of you. It's good to have to have a trailer,.....I guess? Like John Hart, who should get a pat on the back from all of us,for sometimes putting up with alot of cry-babies at times. It's good to have people like Bear, who says,"Second place is just the first loser", Or Tom,who was the only one who could beat everyone by a lap or better,in 1/12 scale,6-cell stock,......with 1300's,for 8 minutes! George is another one,who can see the inspiration of racing in a purist's form, and is willing to race whatever,if it looks like it can be fun!The list goes on and on,of people I have met, that I feel are truly good and decent people, and that is another thing that is hard to find,so to all,........A very merry Christmas!!!

George,......whassup? Got a question,.......what classes do they run at K-mart,what time do they run? If I can swing back into racing again, saturdays would be the only time I could maybe swing it.I know the weather hasn't been cooperating too much lately, but hopefully you haven't had to drive in it like I have,ay any rate, hope you have a good Christmas! See ya soon!

I wanted to express personally best wishes to you for the holidays! We have had our differences over the years, but your vision cannot be misconstrued. And for that,.......Thank you! I have been impressed by your driving skills here of late, you were pretty awesome at CPT! Smooth! I guess even the older dogs get mellow after awhile,LOL! Anyway,......I miss the parking lot days sometimes, they were good times! You were the only one steadfastly behind all of that,Thank you again! Best wishes! Keep the faith, all of us might be on the same page one day........?
