Thats What Made It So Much Fun, You Have To Work For It Not Just Ride Around. parrott88 03-06-2004, 03:06 PM Bigdon, Thanks Man... Its Been Awhile. Wish You Could Have Been There, Would Have Been Good To Race With You Again. See You In Daytona. Are You Running Stock Or 19t? rcovalracer 03-06-2004, 03:29 PM Posted By RCOvalRacer: Don't think I will be returning to HW as a spectator or racer I take that back,I will return as a racer, not a photographer. Once again sorry to who ever I distracted with the flash. Jerry there are alot of great guys there, and I personally enjoyed racing there, even with the so called "black hole" in turn 3. Dave was you pitted beside David? David making the cell phone calls to the pits to ya  I seen that... Kevin davepull 03-06-2004, 03:37 PM yah that was me I had the trinity shirt on. rcovalracer 03-06-2004, 03:42 PM We never really met but I remember you from FCCR the couple times I got to race there. And I had on a Dale Jr. hat and a grey sweater on last night,I was talking to David and Jerry in the pit area.Kevin Kevin's RC Oval Site/Branford RC Speedway (http://www.kevinsrc.tk) David Butts 03-06-2004, 06:38 PM Hey guys I'm going to branford tomorrow. Anybody else want to go? Races start at 1200 just like ours but you can get in early if needed. I'm not going there for any reason other than that was my original plan for this weekend. We really need to go to alternating sundays if we're going to keep racing on them. Lastnight was really enjoyable. Lets keep it that way. P.s. I was told today the the store has the new light fixtures in they just have'nt gotten around to putting them up. woo hoo no more black hole as Kevin call's it turn three/infield.:jest: rcovalracer 03-06-2004, 06:52 PM Any more light we will need shades  Echeconnee 03-06-2004, 07:10 PM uh oh, Jerry broke the track record. It won't be long there will be a purple car down from GA to challenge that, lol. Good run Jerry rcovalracer 03-06-2004, 07:20 PM  THE PURPLE CAR  http://hometown.aol.com/langcnn/images/donnie.jpg DEO RACING 03-06-2004, 07:39 PM Stock record and 19-t records are held by GA. boys at Hobby World in Jax,FLA. HA HA HA HA HA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH I just about forgot someone from GA needs to get the PRO-SPEC record then it would be a clean sweep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rcgen 03-06-2004, 08:00 PM There were some clean close racing last night, in Pro-Spec, 4 cell stock and 19t. You all did a great job. Kevin it was only one flash and it was during the early part of the race. I was going to tell you about the flash but noticed you did something with the camera and took another picture w/no flash. The comments after the Pro-Spec race by one racer was uncalled for. Tom (race director) did a good job when he talked to you. HW is a good place to race, but you have to ignore certain people. BTW I raced the road course last night and was pitted close to Jerry. Good run Jerry. Eugene B DEO RACING 03-06-2004, 08:10 PM Maybe the flash should be checked before the first picture is taken!! Just a suggestion especially since it is dark outside. David Butts 03-06-2004, 08:13 PM Stock record and 19-t records are held by GA. boys at Hobby World in Jax,FLA. HA HA HA HA HA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH I just about forgot someone from GA needs to get the PRO-SPEC record then it would be a clean sweep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hart's trying.Ps news flash, A Bear was seen on the pro spec drivers stand last night. What? The touring record's(bof'um) not good enough for you so now you have to pick on us "boring oval" racers? David Butts 03-06-2004, 08:15 PM  THE PURPLE CAR  http://hometown.aol.com/langcnn/images/donnie.jpg No problem. With that car number he'll never get the record. Note See previous post. lol rcgen 03-06-2004, 08:15 PM Pro-Spec???maybe 19t DEO RACING 03-06-2004, 08:24 PM when are we going to run are ACOR type motors? Echeconnee 03-06-2004, 08:35 PM aren't you supposed to use a flash at night? You guys are really being too hard on Kevin. I am sure the flash was unintentional, how many wrecks have you guys cuased that were unintentional? Give it a rest and go racing, geez. If you guys ever do get to run the ARCORT 19t motors you will throw rocks at the C2's. You don't have to rebuild them near as much. And they are as fast or faster than the C2's. I spun one up on the dyno today and it was 104 watts @ 129 torque. I can't wait to unleash it in Daytona, ZOOM, ZOOM! DEO RACING 03-06-2004, 08:45 PM Just poking a little fun dont worry Cliff I take it you are running 19-t in Daytona if so see you there zoom zoom!!!!!!!! Donnie_99 03-06-2004, 10:57 PM good run jerry !! man i was gonna change from purple but i guess will stay with it now lol since i am known as the purple car lol. irvan36mm 03-06-2004, 11:57 PM Hart's trying.Ps news flash, A Bear was seen on the pro spec drivers stand last night. What? The touring record's(bof'um) not good enough for you so now you have to pick on us "boring oval" racers? Butts(tm)- Actually, the Bear sighting was in 19t-not Pro-Spec. If ya think about it,when was the last time that Jeremy won a race?? LOL! -George rcovalracer 03-07-2004, 05:46 AM Hey David, after turning left at the flashing light on 247,go down until you come to 264th street (2nd dirt road on the right) go down about a quarter mile you will come to 61st street (1st dirt road on left).Go down a quarter mile on the left, look for one of the 2 driveways with the signs on the fence. If you get lost I PM'ed you my cell #. http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/yellows/upsidedowna.gif MAP (http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/attachment.php?attachmentid=7165) Kevin's RC Oval Site/Branford RC Speedway (http://www.kevinsrc.tk) Echeconnee 03-07-2004, 07:16 AM Deo, I am SO running 19t in Daytona! See you there David Butts 03-07-2004, 07:35 AM Butts(tm)- Actually, the Bear sighting was in 19t-not Pro-Spec. If ya think about it,when was the last time that Jeremy won a race?? LOL! -George Actually I knew that but must've been having episode of cranial flatulence. I was turnmashalling that race and just like any good turnmarshall my eyes never left my area of the track. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. shawnleary 03-08-2004, 06:54 AM Congrats to Parrot and Malin for dropping both Stock and Pro-Spec records Friday. Awesome runs. Tighten up people..lol shrabber 03-08-2004, 09:22 PM dave p u got pm  polachjm 03-08-2004, 09:52 PM Does it look like 4 cell stock is here to stay. I got a new car and am trying to decide if I am going to race 4 cell stock or pro-spec. Jason davepull 03-08-2004, 09:55 PM 4 cell stock looks like it is a lot of fun and pleanty fast enough polachjm 03-08-2004, 10:04 PM What seems to be the 4 cell stock motor of choice? Jason GeorgiaFordFan 03-08-2004, 10:11 PM I will run 4 cell stock every time there are enough people to run the class. It is a blast and I really want to get 31 laps. So far the motor of choice is the Monster, but I here good things about the quad. Echeconnee 03-08-2004, 10:22 PM you gotta drop about 8 teeth on the pinion to get the proper performance out of the quad but they will run. I have not been able to get any better performance out of them than I do the monster motor. I hear the carpet guys up north are loving them and breaking old records left and right. Time and lot's of practice will tell....... hypercraig14 03-08-2004, 11:01 PM polachjm check your email rcovalracer 03-09-2004, 01:57 AM I run 4 cell stock, alot of us run the Monster motor or monster based motor. Can't wait to try out the track in the daylight. Kevin bigdon18 03-09-2004, 04:30 PM What seems to be the 4 cell stock motor of choice? Jason for hobby world i would go with the monster stock motor , it has a higher rpm range with more topend power. the epic binary stock motor , isnt roar legal so i wouldnt think you can run it at hobby world. BIGDON rcovalracer 03-09-2004, 07:14 PM Hey Butts ©, lol, did you see your name in the ROAR newsletter? Feb-Mar 2004, page 8. Kevin rcgen 03-09-2004, 07:40 PM I might be shopping at the lhs (hw), what type of tires I need to pick up for the track? davepull 03-09-2004, 07:49 PM I might be shopping at the lhs (hw), what type of tires I need to pick up for the track? touring car or oval???? if oval spec or stock or 19t???? rcgen 03-09-2004, 07:50 PM oval stock or 19t davepull 03-09-2004, 07:52 PM butts is running 3 purples and a red rf I ran 4 purples and I think some of the other guys run pink rears and purple fronts. or 3 pinks and a purple rf. rcgen 03-09-2004, 07:56 PM Pink, purple, red ???no wonder I enjoyed capped tires LOL davepull 03-09-2004, 08:00 PM these are foam tires also 3 greens and a blue rf will work or blue fronts and green rears. your best bang for the buck will be 4 purples rcgen 03-09-2004, 08:03 PM So the rf don't need to be softer shawnleary 03-09-2004, 08:15 PM Who won plaques for touring? Are they being awarded for both 19t and stock touring? I know 19t is still up in the air from what I have heard, Marlowe and Hart were tied and had the same number of TQ's... dooh! Maybe they'll have to flip a coin or something. davepull 03-09-2004, 08:25 PM eugene usually the rf is harder or the same as the lf but never softer davepull 03-09-2004, 08:26 PM shawn i have no idea who won the points for the touring cars from what i heard it will be 19t only. rcgen 03-09-2004, 08:31 PM Anybody thought about combining all the Jax treads together? Just a thought. We all race at one place for now davepull 03-09-2004, 08:37 PM No Way Oval Guys Are Nerds :) BryanW92 03-09-2004, 08:40 PM Probably not a good idea. The purpose of combining threads is if they don't get much traffic individually. Our 3 threads stay busy! We actually need a few more: Jax Smack (that one's self-explanatory) HW Politics (give the people that hate HW a place to rant and advertise their own tracks) TC3 vs Losi ...the list could go on forever! :D rcgen 03-09-2004, 08:43 PM No Way Oval Guys Are Nerds :) So....if you drive oval and touring ah...lets see Einsteins  vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2013, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
