Is There Any Word On When The First Race Wil Be?

Just curious as I'm looking at doing the same thing here, but what brand and specific type of sealer did you guys use on the track? What's the track like as far as size, banking, etc. and lastly what types of tires are you using? This is oval right?

There's no sealer on the track right now as it's freshly-paved asphalt. Look at a freshly paved shopping center parking lot & that's what we got! The track's oval runline is somewhere around 365'. (Not sure about the __X__ size!) Banking is somewhere around 3-5 deg (?) in the corners & flat in the straights. Before the repaving,sealer was used on the old asphalt. I believe it was bought from Home Depot??? Not sure of the brand name,but is was in a yellow 5 gal bucket w/a black lid. It was diluted w/some water & was applied with squeegees. Loads of messy fun! lol The average 19-turn oval guy running here usually use pinks all around w/maybe a purple for the RF. In Pro-Spec,I've been using Spec blues all around.

I wanna, No I need to, No I really have to race something soon. I went out in the garage tonight and some inconsiderate spider has spun a web from my L4O to the TC3 and it continues all the way to the legends car. has it really been that long since we raced? Say it aint so! If it goes much longer I may not be able to find my transmitters within all the spiderwebs. Oh well I get to hear screaming V8's and turbo sixes all weekend this weekend any way and thats all good to me too. Long live Buick V8's. Oh yeah they've been out of production for 27 years. Oh well

The two new light poles are up. All that's left is to get the new lights attached & wired,and maybe address some minor details around the track. It'll be a very busy weekend!

Yea I had a good time on the carpet, took me till the b-main to get my car to run hard, then fell asleep for the tone LOL! Think we only had one lil rub about halfway, no biggie! that was a nice run you had for a old dirt tracker, cant wait for next race :thumbsup: works been runnin me ragged the past couple weeks but I think weve got it under control now.Maybe I can back to racing again :D

Hit the Super Speedway today. Wow it is fast! And so smooth. There is one bump in corner three but otherwise there is no dips or bumps to speak off. Me and Jason ran our Spec Chassis cars today and they handled the best I've ever seen them. No bumps! I think they are shooting for racing this Friday. Definitely call HW on friday to find out. Let's hope for nice weather next Friday. Big "props" goes out to everybody that has made it happen there.

Looking good at the track, they are going to line up the lighting tonight. Racing tomorrow night! Ran some laps today and it is smooooth. Gotta watch the bump between turns 3 and 4. I was told it will get ya and my car can vouch for that. Wall+car=money.....but thats alright, had a blast and cant wait to race......See ya at the track

Stopped by and watched the racing Friday night,The track looks awsome.The spec guys were putting on a good showthe racing appears to be fast and furious.With that in mind how fast can the 19t go,oh we shall see!!!!!! HEY JOE :tongue:

Ladies and gentlemen.

My computer has been on the blink since last week and I actually worked as if I had a real job too. But once again I'm back! as Katfish would say Mwah ha ha ha ha ha! or what ever he says. I'll try to be at the track on friday night as well and I'm planning on running 4c stock.

I stopped by there monday after work and it was good to see tire tracks and other marks on the track. With all the jibber jabber on here it looks like there may be a good turnout. I'm looking forward to it as I havent even charged a battery since last months carpet race. I've been doing the big car deal pretty heavy and I need a little racing fix.

How is the new track? Also do you know where a good place to get a used rolling chassis is? I am looking to start racing oval at hobby world. This will be my first onroad attempt. I grew up in the dirt.
