LOL, that 2 tank break in tipp today was alittle surprising...LOL

Hey guys it was talked about at the April 9th meeting, that some would like to start the races at 11:00am instead of noon. Don't matter to me either way just think we should get that posted up somewhere if that's the case. I would hate to be late for the first race.

How did the practice go today? Sounds like it may have been interesting. I went mushrooming, Julie found 2, me 0. Should have played at the track but the grandsons wanted to go soooo. They had fun any way.

Racing starts at 11am, that was the decision, just to clarify. I would recommend that people plan on being there to get set-up around 9:30 or 10am at the latest, so you have time to get set-up and signed in. We'll try and stop sign in around 10:45, then a track meeting. Please be patient with us on the computer, this will be our first race with a new system, we have most peoples names in the system, but may need some extra time to figure things out as we go. So the earlier you can sign up, the quicker we can get started.

Wade, practicing went great today, this track looks very fast, but has some technical areas that will slow you down a lot, will be nice to run it with a watered track, will make it much easier to drive, the track was a dust bowl today. Randy will have the watering system up and working in the next day or two.

Thanks again for all of the hard work getting the track up and running this year, our members are amazing.......

Membership - $25 first race day is free (any # of classes)
Family pass - $20, family=spouse and children 1 race each, additional races $5
Members -$10 first race and $5 each additional race
non-member-$15 first race and $5 each additional race

We revised the race fee's this year, Jason Johnston recommended the family pass, we thought that was a great idea. Thanks Jason.

Inferno; yes it may be a little early but the early bird gets blah, blah, blah. You know how it goes, just trying to beat the rush. Were quite a few ppl looking. Julie always finds first and I may not be in any shape after tomorrow, going to the eye specialist. I have a rip inside my rt eye and can't see too well.

sonnyleeb, just wanted to tell ya that heli was awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!! you fly that thing better than most pro vids i have watched!!

actually, the GO GX5R rod is the same thing as the OS. .21, i have tons of those....LOL

You should see him fly when it's not so windy. Maybe we will later this summer, I know NMRCC is a race club, but it's cool to see other things too. Just have to fly before races start or at resort.

I was busy helping marshalling while sonny was flying, just got to watch a little. What I saw was crazy cool, sonny really does a great job flying those things. I'd love to see him show up and fly those during race days at break or in between rounds, the drivers would love it.

Race fee question, would Dale and I benefit from the family plan, I will be running 2 classes, maybe 3 from time to time, Dale 1 class.

The family plan is for each race, you and dale on family plan would be $20 + $5 for each additional class for 2 extra classes that would be a total of $30. With a member ship, that same race scenario would cost you $10 each plus 2 extra classes $30. The benefit for membership is you get free, unlimited practice. Plus with the membership, you and Dale would get your first race for free with unlimited # of classes. Winner for your scenario is the membership, beats you buy

That what I was thinking Tip, that deal will come in handy in a couple more years when the other kid starts racing.

On another note, Casey Has to work on Saturday so if anyone needs anything make arrangments with him and I will bring it down, I have to stop by and see him on my way by regardless.

If the wife will let me I might stop by the track on tuesday on our way backfrom Ann Arbor, we came down today for a DR. appointment for Dale at U of M, Driving part way back tomorrow then the rest on tuesday.

+1, you will like the track wigman!! very fast at points, yet alittle tricky in others, should be some good racin saturday! for your question about fee's, membership would be best for you. it will save you 5 bucks if you run 3 classes and your son runs 1

Yes sir I am, good seeing you guys again. Sorry it was short lived but really fun. I have some set up to learn on the E-Revo but man I really like driving that truck. Hopefully the M/T class will be a decent one this year.
About the time I got home and got the running around down and settled in for Pizza and the NBA playoffs I was paged to frickin Munising.....
Needless to say I am rebuilding PC's sitting up here right now. 5.5 hour drive one way:(

Hats off to the Hard Core members and all there work on the track. The changes and layout are awesome. I cant wait to get the 1/8 Buggy on it. Once I learn how to drive it.. LOL

ya, i used that 750 motor that was in your box and just used a 540 motor for like a idler tensioner. works good

I stopped by the track today with the wife and kid, we were on our way back from Ann Arbor. Looks great, I like it except for the little jumpy bumps at the end of the straight. I am thinking we will need to put up the catch fence 2 rows high.....LOL

actually those are pretty cool, just have to find the fast way around, or you can go through them, hit the first one and can tripple the the rest, not as bad as they look;)

Another double, double on the front straight would be cool, but not to big to make it dangerous, just a little something more.

JJ, you still planning on making it to that monster truck race? The wife and kids and I are going down that Thursday to stay at her sisters place, I'm gonna do the race Friday, and leave either Saturday night or Sunday morning, so I can make it back in time to race at Nmrcc!

Wigman, I know that inferno is playing that corner down, but it will be much tougher under race conditions, especially in the mains with the shotgun start, 10 trucks going as fast as they can to get ahead of each other for 120' then that corner.........gonna be fun to watch that's for sure. Might have to put all the marshals except one on that corner during a-mains starts.....LOL!

Personally, I think the first corner will seperate the smart racers from the rest after a few experiences. If your not their first (or close), you've got the rest of the track to catch up.
