Freebies? I paid him for all my stuff. He gave me a great deal, But not free. The clutch I tried to pay him but he wouldn't let me.
He's just wheeling over me busting his chops about the fuel. Witch I really don't care about. A clutch set up for a gallon of fuel, sounds good to me.
Besides he's all talk when you see him at the track he will be a big pussycat. I think Inferno's alright, and I don't care what you guys say about him!!!!!!!!!!!

Revo-lution 04-27-2011, 07:43 AM I'm in for some track work Friday, and saturday. What time?
JJohnston 04-27-2011, 02:35 PM Some one interested in two 5s packs to run in parallel in there 1/8 or MT ?
Guy from RC tech sent me two 5s and it should have been two 3s.
tipperjackson 04-27-2011, 06:17 PM 6 ish on Friday and probably early on Saturday, because rain is suppose to move in later in the day.
Revo-lution 04-27-2011, 07:34 PM JJ, Jbod would probably give you 15-20$ for the pair, but only if that were shipped, or delivered! Otherwise he'd only go about 10-12.50$ if he had to pay shipping!
tipperjackson 04-27-2011, 08:31 PM I don't know about any of you, but I'm getting tired of working on rc cars, and not being able to race them. Come on May 7th, this time of year is tougher than February, it's soo close you can almost taste the nitro fumes and hear the scream of nitro engines reving 40k rpm's..........Uuuugggghhhhhh!
I need dirt!
JJ, what you looking to get out of them? Sonny may be interested in them for his heli's.
tipperjackson 04-27-2011, 09:05 PM Maybe I should be doing this instead of posting about racing on hobbytalk...........

Yep, sorry wigman, your gonna have to wait and kick my but later this summer. We've got lots of work to do to the track. Good luck, hope you win some trophies. There should be some good competition up there from Gaylord this weekend though.
Looks like we are definately on for tomorrow night and I'm planning on being at the track Sat. morning about 9 ish. If you come out, make sure and bring tools and an rc, we may need to try some jumps on Saturday. I'm bring the 8th buggy, might be nice to have an Truggy, SC and maybe 4x4, so we can try them all to see how jumps flow.

Nope, first race might have to be buggy and monster truck........
WIGMAN 04-29-2011, 08:02 AM Don't forget SC Tip, you got a butt kickin comin your way since your not coming up this weekend, I hate this weather, hope the track isn't too flooded for you guys this weekend, I know my yard is still pretty much flooded up here, the old ball and chain got the front tires of the mini van off the driveway about 3 feet ( don't ask why, she gets a little pissy when I ask), anyway, she sunk it to the frame, I had to pull it out with the Hemi.

Sounds like good times. Not planning on running SC this summer. Sold the slashzilla and didnt want to run the losi sc on dirt.
tipperjackson 04-29-2011, 01:31 PM Just a reminder, we will be working on the track tonight and we could use some muscle moving the scoring shack into place. Also gonna do some track conditioning. Tomorrow if we have enough help, we may look at actually changing the lay-out or just dressing the jumps, first race is next Saturday, may not be enough time to re-construct the track.
I'll be at the track tomorrow around 9am and tonight around 6pm, hope to see you there.
norm41 04-29-2011, 02:50 PM Sounds like good times. Not planning on running SC this summer. Sold the slashzilla and didnt want to run the losi sc on dirt.
NOT RACING SC THIS SUMMER come on ron that sounds like you might be a little scared. just kidding but you know you'll be back after a couple of nitro hackfest that go on there. you'll be back for some real racing.
WIGMAN 04-29-2011, 03:01 PM You go Norm, I think he is scared he might get beat by a yooper.....LOL
Weather forecast for next Saturday in Gaylord......FEW SHOWERS and 57 degrees that better than last year when you guys shoveled snow off the track for the first race....LOL
Can Hardly wait.
tipperjackson 04-29-2011, 03:43 PM Just to let you know, we do not allow the the use of that "S" word. It will get you banned from hobbytalk for life.......LOL!
tipperjackson 04-29-2011, 10:28 PM So, our tractor drivers tonight got a little over zelous and started digging and changing the track, along with jbod, who decided he wanted a new track layout for our first race this year. Since our first race is now 8 days away, we could definatly use some major help tomorrow to make sure that the track is ready for next Saturday. Your help would be appreciated. Your gonna love the flow of the new track, gonna be very fast........
at the point the track was at, with pipes already moved for the tractors, same amount of work to either put it back the way it was and do all the same amount of work again later or forge forward and put the new layout in place. I say why do all the work just to do it again in a couple weeks. once the pipe is set (should only take 1/2 hour or so) the rest is move small amounts of dirt, and rake.
Just saying
If it not done in time you guys can blame me! I don't have any dough ts that it will all be fine.
