Has anybody on this thread ever heard of or used an rc motor called Ten shock for 1/8 and 1/10 cars? If so, what has been the verdict as far as performance and quality? They are made in china and are 6 pole motors. I believe they are mostly for boats from what I've read.

I've never heard of them Wade, but I'm not that up on new elctronics that are out....sorry!

Just a quick glance and I am thinking that is the same OEM as the "Trackstar" (Turnigy) if so they have got pretty good reviews on URC and RCU.

Thanks JJ, I believe you are right, ten shot motors are being pretty widely used in europe from what I've read and are having much success. Also they have a lower rotating mass due to rotor machining. Also they are 6 pole.
