If you plug in the numbers to the E=IR formula, where E is voltage, I is current, amps, and R is the motor resistance, you will find that if the volts drop, the amps will increase. that's why it works on 6s and thermal shutdown on 4s.:thumbsup:

2S2P is 2 series, 2 parallel in 1 pack
They are wired in parallel to give you double the capacity but remain the same voltage. So thats really 4 cells, 4000 mah per cell in one pack. Just wired 2S2P to give you 7.4 volts and 8000 mah! :)

So really you have 8 cells running in that savage but running at 14.8v (4s). :p

So does running these packs in series after they are already parallel make a difference in amps ? Maybe a pro can step in here I would not think so just stick with the rule wade posted.
