Week who has the time to not only record the races but also edit and post them?
If we get some real good video and someone with some editing skills, NMRCC could make DVDs and sell, maybe along with some new shirts or even hats.

I was thinking that if we got a couple people to bank roll the initial investment and when they are paid back then the profit could go to NMRCC for future purchases of more shirts.
Like tee shirts and hoodies.

Mike D.
03-26-2011, 09:16 PM

i know, but we might go down state one or 2 or 3 times this summer, i hope...lol, although they do look like a good tread for our track, not at the beginning of the year but when the track hardens towards end of july to aug, i can see them working well

aaaahhhhh, again we disagree.....LOL. calibers and shotguns and crimefighters. dint care for the I beams or cityblocks last year, tread is to close together and builds up fast on a moist track.

City blocks work well until the track gets too wet. Then they clog up. I beams rule on our track, That I will not move on......

true, calipers are a tuneing tire, work well on many tracks with directional tire pattern but would not suggest on a hard like concrete track.

If you look at the pictures inferno posted. the crime fighter has a rounded off edge(sidewall) unlike the revolveres. they have a more squared off edge to them. it would make it look wider. yes i would be wider then the crime fighter depending on where you measure. Just my .02 on the discussion

ya, its a huge differnce, wider might make the buggy more stable, dont know, only ran it half the year last year. this year should be a hole differnt story this year...only race time will tell...lol

calibers is a very confusing and sketchy tire. The work ver good with a moist/dry track. Ive noticed that they suck terribly on a wet track because the pins have a uniuqe pattern that has a tendensy to clog up. They work really good on dry surfaces that is loamy on top and hard packed underneath. The goosebump works best on wet loamy surfaces

It will make the car more stable. If you look at the new tires Pro-Line and JConcepts are releasing, they are the 2.o versions of a already released tire. What they did to the 2.0 tire, is spread the main tread pattern out and square off the side wall making the tire have a tougher side wall.

correct!!!!! thats why i thought they would be good at our track, truggy main is normally towards the end (dry and loomey)

In that case, i believe the dominate tire would be the Caliber. Thats a thing where it will need to be tried and played with in order to come to a conclusion. Alot will depend when the track is watered, climate, temp, where the class is placed and what the track condition is at the time of the main.
