Inferno, I one that's called a kwik-start and works great. I charge it before race day and it's good to go. Intact I haven't charged mine since the last race at nmrcc and it still fires up my motors.

So I stopped into performance tonight, Dubie was there and Matt Shelters, Dubie has given up on oval and is real interested in off-road, especially in the 5th scale, off-road. He said he will buy one before summer, so jbod you'd better hold onto that buggy, it sounds like there could be a 5th scale class this summer at NMRCC. Dubie said he had two other guys who where interested as well. Inferno, it's time to get some HPI deals going......LOL!

Damn Tip that thing looks brand new......that SC8 is cool too, and a damn good price, I'm having enough trouble trying to afford the electonics for my new 4X4 Losi....You guys talking about those $1200 1/5 scales is nuts too, although I remember a day I would have bought one and not thought twice about it.....why oh why could they not have had this stuff out when I had money....and was single so I could go race more often....LOL

tipperjackson
03-09-2011, 10:23 PM
No, same chassis, I've run the tune flex for two years now, gonna be running 1/2 in offset, just havn't change hubs yet. I can't wait to fire up the new o.s. and see what that .25 has to offer.....LOL!

Thanks Wigman, it is practically new. I found out years ago that if you start pretty much fresh in the spring you don't have to worry about anything all summer long. New motor and pipe, new gas tank, rebuild shocks and diffs, new bearings and a fresh set-up and it's time for some summer racing, no problems just good racing......

You live by that good old motto....To finish first...first you must finish....I never see you breakin a whole lot if ever.
There should be a good class of 4X4 SC this year too, mines brand new and I am already gonna tear into it. Wish they would have made it a kit and not a ARTR, the manual has these nice blowups of whats in there but an assembly manual would have been great

I'm not so sure about that, your trigger control last year was very impressive compared to years past. A little more control, and you will be fast........just sayin!

Yeah I got the Losi, was planning on getting the new xxx-sct but when the 4x4 came out and I got the OK for 1 new one I went with the 4x4, my crc conversion is fast enough for now, Its alot easier to come up with $150 than it is $300, I will have a new xxx-sct sometime this summer.

The guys down state are really talking up the new losi 4x4, they say there winning almost everything down there straight out of the box with stock set-up. Most are changing the diffs from grease to lube and winning everything........

Can I race the sc8 with the 10th scale 4x4's?

Chris cairns went down to the Braggin rights race with a brand new one, he was out motored, he had a year old 5.5 ballistic, everyone was running 4.5's, he was winning the A main and got took out bad. He told me he had not changed a thing except the tires and was running the fastest lap times.
He was racing an scrt-10 jammin and says the losi is head and shoulders above the jammin. He has since changed the diff from grease to fluid.
I can hardly wait to run mine. I want to go to Adams this weekend but I have no servo for this beast

Adam is'nt running the 4x4's indoors, but bring your XXXt-CRC down, the track layout is fast with some very cool jumps and rythms. You'd enjoy it!
