Is everyone getting all of there stuff together? I know I'm forgetting something, always do, I just hope it's nothing major like a car or something like that.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm ready for a full weekend of racing, I'm about to burst with excitement. OK, not quite that much, but it seems like I've been getting ready forever.....LOL!

Inferno, if this is a BEC problem, why are you loosing steering also. The mamba max pro has a built in BEC, witch in your words stores power for the RX and steering servo, thus you shouldn't loose steering. Now that being said if the BEC cut off on the mamba max pro is set to high,then it is possible for the motor to steal to much power and causing a loose steering.

i called castle and they told me the built in bec cant handle the 550 can 4.5t motor, told me to get the cc bec and should solve my problems, also told me when i get it to hook it up to computer and set voltage to 5.4v or higher

It is the gear that goes on the motor. All the other gears came in the gear kit, but the motor gear is also striped. Called horizon hobbies today and the guy said he had never heard of this gear going bad. So he is checking with service to see what I have to do to get a motor gear.

The gear is like a pinion gear goes on the motor shaft. About half the size of a pencil eraser. Look at the only plastic gear and the smallest gear part is the size of this brass gear.

trone,ice,jj,and myself left sunday ,the trailer lights went out and trone didnt want to get a 500.00 dollar ticket with i dont blaim him that would just wrap up a already frustrating weekend for us.. i broke my jammin so many times i could put it together blind folded.. and didnt have the tire for my truggy like being on ice all day with that thing.. but we will know better next time on what to bring!!

i can understand the frustration. many people where braking parts and traction was hard to come by.
but still had a great time hanging out with everyone:thumbsup:
got to wear what they called the BQ qullifing helmet, that was a hoot.
top qaulifiers in the b mains had to wear and sign the helmet.

i ended up with 1st in the B Main in stock short course and 1st in the C Main in mod short course.

got home about 1am last night long but fun weekend.
