What's the date for the dirtburners race? I can't find the schedule. I would like to go, just have to be careful I don't rattle the home front too much with a wedding comming up in the fall.

Found out why my ackerman broke, the guy I had bought it from was using the 1.0 ackerman and notching it out, so wham, one good hit and it went to the weekest point.

yep, i did the same thing to get more steering throw and told GNS to do the same thing, we both broke the ackerman arms last year...lol. i guess thats not a good idea. well i want and planning on going either way, just would be more fun if i was not by myself. i figured tony was nice enough to add our track to the series and thought i would try to support every race, loosing is pretty fun when you get use to it...lol

yes they are, dakotah hit the same pole, i tried to block it with my leg so he would miss it but got a good gash in my leg and he hit it anyway, i tried to sacirfice my leg for his quilifier but dint work out for either of us...lol

i felt bad, i truly did, i even emailed him telling him i was the guy that did. its all hitec's fault, sent the new crap servo in today, hope they fix it or it will be back to savox again, never had a savox servo go bad.:)

Also Dirtburners doesn't have any steel support poles and most of the layouts are more rhythm oriented on smaller scale with a slower pace I would except less parts breakage the next race.

Actually he had no choice but to say sorry this time...the guy was yelling in his face. It was pretty funny. It was a complete accident too...they touched in mid air and the guy slammed into the side of the funbox there.

I met Dakotah and his dad down there back in September...super cool people. I'll bet he hardly cared much.

thanks nick, but you are a little......ok alot better than most...lol, so a steel beam in the middle of the track does not hurt or help anyone.....lmao. again, awsome job with the VE8!

Go back to what works Mike......I hate Hitech servos, I have been racing off and on for the past 20 years and I have never had a hitech servo last, just ask Casey, he use to swear by hi tech servos, after watching him race(and crash alot) I thought they might be something to try adn like I said I have never had one last, I would take a plastic gear JR (i loved their 4735...too bad they dont make it any more) over a metal gear hi-tech any day.

You should see what Dakota runs and try those, I know norm said he checked out what he was running in his SC and 4x4SC and was surprised to see he was running inexpensive spectrum servos.

I know this, you will never see a hitech servo in anything I drive ever again....been burned too many times to waste my money on them.

As far as anyone taking anyone out, accidents happen, no big deal. Like someone said, Dakotah hit the pole too!!!! It was a really fun race and we look forward to seeing everyone at the next round. :)

well i sent the servo to hitec yesterday, hate to just throw a 149.00 servo in the garbage, only had 12 minutes run time on it. the hitec 79xx series are really good servos. i dont like JR servos.

I run proline standard molded "V2" foams in all HB tires. They seem to fit the best and the most consistent as the tire wears.

Well, Mike there is an off road version, they brought it out 2 years ago and where using it at the Big Kahuna race at AMS then. I can't remember if you use your own controller or if one comes with the kit. But I thought you used your controller.
