What you doing with hellfire stuff?

if i told you, you would not let me know if you have some...lol, i hear that is one of the best mods for the D8T, the hellfire aluminum rear hubs fit the rear and have a slightly differnt angle than the d8t ones, makes for better rear traction and they are tough as nails.

Look at HPI's new line of flux cars. They have 1/8 sc and a apache that looks like it would be cool as hell to race.

saw those, but would like to see a stadium truck in a 1/8 scale. the 1/8 short course never took off (nitro or electric) most guys are just using them to bash around.

ill give him a ring tomorrow! Dont want any traxxas engines though. thanks

jbod

Adam had a box full of different motors when he was having that garage sale thing in the other shop just before he closed up. I know there were a couple HPI .21 and .25. And a couple LRP's.
And for traxxas motors, what better motors to learn on? You couldn't possibly make them any worse.

Would like to know what condition that go motor I got with the d8t is in.

not really, you van tell just buy pushing the piston up the sleeve and see how far it from the top when it start getting tight. or just do the lean test, get piston to top and hold flywheel and hold engine on its side and see if it will hold its own weight

jbod
01-19-2012, 07:47 PM
Do you have any motor parts left for them go motors?

Mike D.
01-19-2012, 07:53 PM
Do you have any motor parts left for them go motors?

yep, no piston/sleeves, but have rods, o rings, piston pins, but the newer GO parts wont fit the engine you have in your truggy, the crank pin is smaller than the gx5r and newer go engines, that engine is a GO TECH engine, the newer ones are made buy a new company called GO ENGINES., in the next month or so the only dealer for GO engines will be amainhobbies, unless the few guys that still have stock are still selling them.

jbod
01-19-2012, 07:56 PM
So what your saying is that you sold me a thro away motor?

Mike D.
01-19-2012, 07:58 PM
So what your saying is that you sold me a thro away motor?

jbod
01-19-2012, 08:00 PM
So you give me a GX5R and I will give you a GO TECH engine.

jbod
01-19-2012, 08:03 PM
I know the go tech motor had a very small tuning window, so have you ever hear of any one trying different carbs to correct that?

Mike D.
