Well got the buggy fixed and ready for storage, striped the first drive gear in the servo.
Tore the truggy apart and found the ring and pinion gear are wiped out, but good news I have many of them.

Are any of you guys gonna try to do that MSCS series? I'm gonna try to make dirtburner and the backyard track. Other than that I'll be up here at school or at the off road races. Just bought a Slash from Rob and plan on total domination for Stock SC next year:thumbsup::D:D:D!!!!!

Tipp you going to play with the scoring pro program this winter to figure out the minutes between heats and use the rolling starts?
I think it would be nice to see the rolling starts for our heat races.

I agree, rolling starts are the way to go for heat races. I'll have to get with Doug and figure it out, you have to set the min and max time and track length to have it work correctly.

hey, starting to put that kit together and was looking for someone that might want to paint the body of it. I have no exp in it and they do give stickers to mask the windows. I'm not looking for anything super special and I can even keep the wing clear...it will get bashed up anyhow....what do you think? Mike...one last paint job before Florida???

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting a 1/8 electric buggy for next spring but I don't know what the battery or motor rule is for them. Thought I might ask before I did any major shopping. My scte and revo are fun, but I need more speed!!

Buggy will give you plenty of speed Wataru, there are no restrictions to batteries or motor for the 8th scale racers, you can make it as crazy as you think you can handle. I've heard a lot of racers are going with 5 and even 6 cell lipos because of longer run times for the same MH, and sick power and speed. I'm running a 4 cell and find it plenty fast with a quality esc and motor combo.

as far as i know there really is not any rules for 1/8 electric buggy, most are tekin rx8 with 1700 to 1900kv motor, or MMM with 1800 to 2050 motor, most are also using a 4S lipo.

I will have to give it some thought, crunch some numbers, see what happens. I'm not even certain which buggy to go with. Let the over-analysis begin.

If you can't over-analize in this sport, then your not a perfectionist......LOl! I'm not sure what that means, but could'nt think of anything else to say. Lots of choices out there and a lot of opinions, make sure you research then make an educated decision based on your knowledge combined with what you read.

We should make a basic rules for batteries in 1/8 scale.
I run nitro so don't really matter to me, but if you don't make a rule some people will cry, and we've seen that before.
His toy car is faster than my to car, that's not fair. Bla, bla, bla!
