Alright what is the optimal temp for a 550 size electric motor?
I guess a better question would be at what temp are you in danger of motor damage or failure?
High temp- low temp?

no higher than 160, 120-130 is a good running temp
Well that's where I am with the savage.
I was thinking of putting the 2350 motor in the SC8 and the 1900 in the savage.
But I hate to lose to much with the savage, but the 2350 is stupid in it, you can't get full throttle, and I'm really only going to run it bashing, like at the big air contest.
Mike D. 08-25-2011, 06:15 PM if you put the 1900 in the savage i bet you would do pretty good in the MT class, atleast be able to controll it
Anybody know if one of the hobbie shops have the novak multiple pinion pack?
15, 16, 17, 18! Mod 1 5mm shaft.
Ya but then the SC8 will be stupid, and all I will here is crying that my toy car is faster than their's, and that I'm not following the rules and bla, bla, bla!!!!!!!!!!!
WIGMAN 08-25-2011, 07:50 PM !@#$%^&.....nope not worth it
!@#$%^&.....nope not worth it
It's all just poking fun bud!
We can box Saturday if it will make you feel better!
But I have to warn you, I will lay down in the fetal position and cry like a baby! You see, I'm fragile. LOL.
Sorry I couldn't make over to help with the track, I had a planning commity meeting.

It's all good, I understand if people can't make it. It was after all pretty short notice with the rain we did'nt have a lot of options and the work needed to be done, track was in pretty rough condition. Grass is mowed and weedeated, track is groomed, lights are adjusted and replaced fogged lense and, oh yea, made an awesome change to the track, you guys are gonna flip out when you see the change. Thanks to Revo, Buddy, David and Randy for all there hard work tonight.

Let's talk about them there parts, and I changed fluids in my D8 also, I'm now running a 3000/5000/2000. I have a few set up sheets you should look at, from Ty Tessman to Hara and a couple others.

well i know yo have D8 parts so im sure we can work out a trade deal! i dont have to many extras for the d8, just a cvd rebuild kit, so as i break things we will just trade a d8 part for a sc8 part:)
Well how do I get the parts when you sell me that D8?

The track looked great last night, I can't believe how far it has come this year, I told Randy It looks better than it has all year, holding moisture and groomed to near perfection. A little bit of water will only make it that much better. Did anyone go check out the new track design today?

He has been busy, looking at a pretty nice new location! He runs mainly Sundays and some Friday nights when he has enough entries.
We went a couple Sundays ago. decent size crowd down a little from the norm, but John always makes it fun
