Just got off the phone with Randy, the track needs some TLC before the big night race, sounds like we need a little help. Where calling for a workbee on Thursday night around 6pm any and all help is welcome and appreciated, we have a couple of small track changes to do, mow grass and weedeat re face jumps and fix holes, this is the first time this summer we've asked for help, so I hope to see a good turn out. See you there.

Been having some interest and conversation on our facebook page also, so we could have even more new people there, so would like to have the track in tip top shape.

Remember that we will be starting Saturdays night race at 1pm...........

went good!! pinion came loose all i heard was wizzzzzzzz wizzzzzzzz, D8e handled really good, had to drop front shock oil down to 30wt, and found that the 17t pinion is best! with temps at 119 on motor and 94 on ESC. track wasent that bad, just need to mainly nail down some pipe and fill in a couple small holes. the front tripple was fun i can clear that and almost land by the starting pole;)

Are we really running 10 minute mains in 4x4????? Is this final or is it up for a vote? I can say personally I do not want to run 10 minutes. I would be lucky to make it with my battery and my motor would fry, it is already too hot after 7 minutes.
I know they did it last race but I thought that was a test and from what I understood there sere several that didn't think it was a good idea, but just what I heard.

we ran 10 min main last race in 4x4 sc class, no one had a problem finishing at all. (glad im not running SC class anymore):)

Wigman, I don't think anybody had any issues with making it ten minutes, or motors getting too hot, I think franks motor got to around 150 or so, mine reached barely 130. Besides, by the time we are running the mains, it will be late evening, and likely way cooler outside. I don't think temp should be to much an issue.

that would be cool, i know a guy who knows a guys sisters couisons brothers dads brother in law who sell GO engine parts for cheap!! or i have a couple modded GO GX5R's by Rex Welch that i might concider selling, no fuel ran through them after rebuild and MOD!
